How do you explain all the progess humans have made since Jesus was here? Information is readily available. No more stories handed down. The industrial revolution. The computer age. Space exploration. We don't need something to believe in to get up in the morning anymore. I'm just saying that all this has happened since Jesus was here, but nothing had really changed inbetween Creation and Jesus Christ. We held are breath for him to return, but were not waiting anymore.

Quran 71:16 YUSUFALI: "'And made the moon a light in their midst, and made the sun as a (Glorious) Lamp? http://cwis.usc.edu/dept/MSA/quran/071.qmt.html

Crystal clear error.

How can we get this pre-school error in the Quran corrected? Obviously, you shouldnt allow your stupid God to look so so so stupid. The moon could not have be made a "light" because the moon isnt a light. At night, the moon reflects the sun's light.

I guess I dont have a major problem with the Quran's calling the sun a "glorious lamp" because at least the sun itself is a source of light, like a lamp, although I am certain that a 5 year old could make a better comparison.

do u think that its fair that i got in trouble becasue i had a beliefe about something. heres the story. we were learning about dinosaurs and them becoming extinked and all. and one of the qwestions was do u belive the theory of dinosaurs becomeing extinct becaseu of an astroid. i said " no i belive that god took the dinosaurs of the earth because he got an idea of starting new life. i think that god wanted to put human beings on earth and start a new life and new ideas." do u think its far that i got a detention becasaue of that and i got a 0 on that paper. it said do YOU believe in the theory ....... i dont think it is very fair.
