Not realy.
The Bible is very inconsistent with regards to cosmology (IF you try to take it literally!). Some passages claim the Earth is flat and has corners! Others that you can see the whole world from the highest mountain!!!
Just more good reasons for not taking the Bible too literally or simplisticaly...

To say the solar system, and for that matter, the universe, is only referred to as 'the heavens' by god is another jump in faith. It shows again that the bible was written by man, about some events that happened on earth. It's a great story, but it's just that, a story from man's perspective. If it really the word of an almighty being, it would have to acknowledge not only our solar system, but the universe and other life forms (seriously, if we're the only life form in this universe, it scares the sh*t out of me!). Reference to the 'heavens' is man's simple explanation of what he did not understand 2000 years ago.

No it doesn't. The Bible only mentions the Heaven and the Earth.

Other planets are referred to as "the heavens". There was no need to name them b/c it was man's job to do so eventually. God knew they were there of course, but they were just not important and there was no way they could be seen by man at the time.
