How do you explain all the progess humans have made since Jesus was here? Information is readily available. No more stories handed down. The industrial revolution. The computer age. Space exploration. We don't need something to believe in to get up in the morning anymore. I'm just saying that all this has happened since Jesus was here, but nothing had really changed inbetween Creation and Jesus Christ. We held are breath for him to return, but were not waiting anymore.

-To say that we have advanced a lot BECAUSE we are in a post-Jesus period of time is irrational, completely illogical, and points to an obvious lack of knowledge on your part.
-We have advanced because: humanity is getting smarter, we are able to build on what we have already learned, education is more common, and the means of communication (dissemination of information) is becomming easier.

He is still coming whether anybody believes it or not. If he doesn't come again we will continue to have diseases, die, and grow old. He is coming to make right all the things that are wrong in the world. Once he comes it will be a golden age for us that the world has not seen since the Garden of Eden. He is even supposed to dry up all the oceans and rearrange the earth to make it a paradise again. Our advances in technology and our ways of doing things are not good enough. So many people are still suffering and only he can change that.

All of these things were given to man to serve a purpose. Technology was given to us to fulfill the prophecy of spreading the good news to all people in all lands, that will come to pass before the end. The same is true today, as was BC the believers follow Christ and the antichrists don't. Christians are waiting anxiously for Gods return! Praise be to God.

Who is not waiting? We don't look forward to the destruction of this world, of the end of time for those who haven't repented to believe, but there are more than you know, although still a small remnant who believe and pray for his return. And we can know by signs that his return is soon.

Are you kidding me? I would trade life here on earth for an eternity in paradise in a heart beat. No more war, hate, illness, violence, hunger, etc. Anyhow, how do you explain the building of the great pyramids and Solomon's temple? Who do you think built those? They did it w/o the computer, metal tools and satellites......hmmmm...and no, it wasn't the aliens...

why do people keep praising technology when the world is obviously going to hell? will someone please tell me that? oh! we launched a shuttle to the moon!! yay! another 10,000 children died of stavation and war.
we live on comfort, until that is taken away, we praise technology and man's simple and insignificant ways.
