So far the only ups i can see in christianity is that you don't go to hell and get tourtured for all eternity. It's more of a fear of the stick religion than a go for the carrot religion. Maybe the muslims are onto something, you don't see many christains blowing themselves up for what they believe in.

A Christian martyr is not someone who kills. It is someone who is killed because they believe in God. Christians don't kill in the name of God, at least they shouldn't. They get life everlasting, new bodies, Heaven.
