I have seen people bend metal with my very own eyes. Is this proof that the mind can really distort physical items?

I should have made myself more clear: have you ever given creation a chance, yes or no , if yes what was that specific experience?...

They brought to pass;
All things hang like a drop of dew
Upon a blade of grass."

Quran 7:148 SHAKIR: And Musa's people made of their ornaments a calf after him, a (mere) body, which gave a mooing sound. What! could they not see that it did not speak to them nor guide them m the way? They took it (for worship) and they were unjust.

Thats right people....the Golden Calf MOOOOOOEEED. Now I finally understand the Moses fable, the Quran makes it sooo clear.

I use to wonder how any people could be so stupid to make a calf Idol when God did all this miracles for them. In other words, I didnt believe the story. HOWEVER, NOW I DO..IT MAKES PERFECT SENSE...YOU SEE, THE QURAN SAYS THE CALF MOOOOED.

Naturally the israelites so these magical properties and worshipped it...i mean, what do you expect!!!

Shouldn't we think about that now and live in such a way that people will be able to speak good of us? What do you want them to think and say? What do you want God to say about how you went about your life on earth? Share your thoughts and then start living that way so they can say it now and later!

or do you consider the individual question. For instance , if you know the person is of a particular faith do you answer his/her question opposed to or pro the way they would view it , or is each question taken at face value? Be honest.

Why can't Religion admit that they can not be 100% Certain of how the Universe was formed? They blindly believe the words in literature written by mere mortal man.

The fact is Religion can not say they are Right about how the Universe was formed and neither can Science.

But then of course there is Faith. Faith is strong and it is in fact a beautiful thing, but just because I have faith in Pink Elephants that Fly and Transforms into Dragons doesn't make them real.

Neither Religion nor Science can say that they are 100% right about how or what created the Universe. The only difference is that Religion won't admit that. Why?

Well according to my science book, Earth was here for 4.5 billion years after it "formed" [no explanation offered except the big bang theory that made the universe 6 billion years ago]. Then, one day 200 million years ago, life just started appearing starting with one celled organisms. So where did these organisms randomly come from [according to you] ?? Didn't someone [God] have to make them ? Why did they just appear one day ? What just caused them to form out of the blue 4 billion years after Earth did ? And then, how did humans, which are extremely complex life forms, eventually "evolve" from one-celled algae ? How did the algae know how to form into organisms with brains, nerves, blood, reproductive systems, ect. ? How could this happen without divine intervention somehow.

PS :: I am a Christian & don't understand the logic behind evolution. I personally like how Mr. Garrison explained it on South Park [haha!]

2 Samuel 14:25
But in all Israel there was none to be so much praised as Absalom for his beauty: from the sole of his foot even to the crown of his head there was no blemish in him.

Just thinking about it makes me horny.

Wouldn’t it be better not to go to war?
If you can please use scriptural backing.

This is for a research paper. Only if you've read the book, please.

The monster and Christ are similar in that: they have both been sinned against by all of mankind, but technically can't be blamed, and are both willing to make a sacrifice. The monster, in the end, vows to sacrifice himself by burning himself.

How do I fit this into the theme that man should not play God? Victor decided to create a human being, trespassing in to God's territory, and is severely punished when all of his loved ones die.

Help?

At about 2am yesterday morning i was awaken by my daughter laughing in her room. I went in there to find her sitting on her floor in the dark laughing at her doll. I practically had to yell her name to get her attention. She had cut the dolls stomach open, stuffed it with spegetti and was pulling it out. I screamed at first thinking her hands were bloody but it was just sauce. She told me a little boy named lucy took the spegetti out of the trash and helped her make the doll to show how he died. I am completely freaking out. I dont allow her to watch horror movies so I cant imagine where she got the idea. I dont know who to talk, would a church be appropiate? We do not attend. Please help
