Why can't Religion admit that they can not be 100% Certain of how the Universe was formed? They blindly believe the words in literature written by mere mortal man.

The fact is Religion can not say they are Right about how the Universe was formed and neither can Science.

But then of course there is Faith. Faith is strong and it is in fact a beautiful thing, but just because I have faith in Pink Elephants that Fly and Transforms into Dragons doesn't make them real.

Neither Religion nor Science can say that they are 100% right about how or what created the Universe. The only difference is that Religion won't admit that. Why?

Of course evolution is a theory, since it can not be PROVEN.

Can God be Proven? No. It is also a THEORY.

I believe in a creator, but not so blindly as religion depicts it.

I clearly said that I believe in a Creator. Nothing can exist from Nothing. Something has to create for something to exist. But in essence, it is all theory. I am able to realize that and Question how the Universe was created or What created it. Some people do not have the ability to Question.

The Dalai Lama has written an interesting book about this. He states in his book that all religions have their beliefs very few are based in actually facts proven by science. However science is a powerful tool.. and if science can prove to us (Buddhist) that something we believe is not true... then we need to change our system to follow what science has taught us.

Religion is an emotional topic. People don't always want to admit something that they passionately believe could possibly be untrue as it would feel like a personal loss.

Religion is really the ultimate business plan. A business gives people something and the people give the business money. religion is the ultimate business because they provide something that they don't need to produce, AKA no production costs. The reason that the church will never admit the possibility that they are wrong it would make their product worth less, people would stop paying, or as the church calls it donating, and they would go out of business.
And yes I have read the bible front to back, many times. i find that it is better to know all the subject matter, when proving a point.

Your estimate of false religious as well as false science doctrines is accurate. But a fact you might find interesting is that the Bibles definition of faith and true sciences practice of faith is one and the same thing.

Please note, the definition in its simplicity follows the 4 steps to "Scientific Method.

Hebrews 11:1 "Faith is assured expectation of things hoped for the evident demonstration of realities though not beheld"

Simplyfying the steps to 4:
1. State your theory or hypothesis
2. Search out proof to your hypothesis
3 . Test out your hypothesis to see if their is substance to the claim
4. Make your conclusions

To illustrate this the following forces are not seen. Gravity, inertia, ionization, oxogen carbon dioxide exchange in the human body etc. So why do we say they exist? It is simply because of the studied effect they have on bodies in nature--

So even though scientists have less than the smallest of fractions of understanding of these powers, they continue to have faith in their function--and a force or energy behind them.

So to with God's creation, even though many noteworthy scientists acknowledge that God did indeed create, they do not know HOW but many of them still have faith in the Almighties "dynamic energy". So too with true Christians, their belief is based on powers that are beyond human explanation, nevertheless these powers do exist. Note please:

Heb. 3:12: "Of course every house is constructed by someone, but he that constructd all things is God"

Whether it be one of the smallest substances like the electron etc. or the energy in the largest of suns, there indeed has to be the Sparker of such nuclear entities.

Faith in true sciences is an ongoing experience, how much more so is faith in the majestic Igniter of the force behind the sciences.

IN ADDITION://

*** ct chap. 3 pp. 35-38 What Is the Origin of Life? ***

Professor Miller told Scientific American: “The problem of the origin of life has turned out to be much more difficult than I, and most other people, envisioned.” Other scientists share this change of mood. For example, back in 1969, Professor of Biology Dean H. Kenyon coauthored Biochemical Predestination. But more recently he concluded that it is “fundamentally implausible that unassisted matter and energy organized themselves into living systems.”

Thanks for the question.

Religion and science should be blended because science without religion is blind and religion without science is lime. What have been written and delivered by God in the holy book as our life guidance are the challenge for humans to be proofed its truth such as about the creation of this universe, the multi levels skies and earth, the growth of a baby in the womb etc

If you ask a little kid if they believe in Santa Claus, and tell them that they're wrong, they're going to deny it. Now God isn't Santa Clause, but I say he's there, until science proves that he isn't. Try to see this from a Christian's perspective. If you believed that God created the universe, then wouldn't you want to put 100% of your faith into it? I know I do, and I am 100% certain that God made everything, even if you can't see that, but I see proof of it everyday. I'm sorry that you don't understand that.

Religion has all the answers - They like what they know and know what they like. Asking a question about thier belief frightens them. So they don't like to question the answers thay have.

Science has none of the answers, But it has theories, which it will consider, test, and find one (or more) to use until a better theory comes along. Science is about asking questions, and not being afraid to hear the answer.

You are correct, faith is strong, and it is a beautiful thing. Both groups base their beliefs on their faith.
In my humble opinion, there really is no conflict between God and science...after all, God invented science.

Pink elephants that fly and transform into Dragons? Are they the fuzzy kind?

The thing to remember is that evolution is still just a theory - a hypothesis, a speculation, an unproven assumption.

"From the beginning of the Creation God made them male and female..."-- Jesus (Mk. 10:6)

Scripture says God SPOKE all things into existence with His Word:
" By the Word of the Lord were the heavens created, and all the host by the breath of His mouth. For HE SPAKE AND IT WAS DONE; HE COMMANDED AND IT STOOD FAST". (psalm 33:9)

1.God created the heavens and the earth.
2.the "mortal men" who wrote this were Jesus' deciples.
3. believing that Pink Elephants are real, is just as bad as saying we came from monkeys.
4. The reason why we don't "admit" it is because its true. and whoever isn't saved, is going to be lit on fire forever, in hell.

*any questions? oh and one more thing HAVE YOU EVER READ THE BIBLE?! you might want to do that, your life could be a whole lot better with god.

We refer to the authority of the bible, but others do not believe what God has put inour hands. It the best reference to how all things began without applied imagination. How come that is not good enough?
