I have seen people bend metal with my very own eyes. Is this proof that the mind can really distort physical items?

As a magician (Illusionist Magician) many of the so called "Psychokinetic Phenomena" were nothing more than illusions and trickery.Take Uri Geller for example, when ever he bends or melts a spoon, the spoon is ethier prepared before hand on a plate or that he holds the spoons in a very strange way. This is because the spoon needs to be pre-fractured or pre-bent. He then makes it move in a certain way to create the illusion of it "bending".And for the PK- Parties, people listen to a lot of patter so they will be psycked up and be fooled into beliving they made the spoon go soft. What they were actually doing is that they were bending the utencils with strength (they just do not realize how easy it is to bend the spoon/fork therefor tricking them into beliving that the spoon became "softer"). Pk party phenomenons were nothing more than psychological illusions. It has nothng to do with god, it has nothing to do with satan, nothng paranormal, it's all just illusions.

BTW- There is also a metal alloy called nitonol which bends to different shapes due to thermal changes.

Some things are not what they seem. What you saw was probably illusionism. Have you seen Chris Angel floating between two buildings and walking down a wall from 7 stories high? He also bends spoons with his powers.

Some "powers" are illusions, created only to entertain the people. Impressive how illusionists can achieve to fool us. Right?

it will be counted on what you would cite as conceivable. "evidence" is subjective: even if motives human beings to have self belief evidence. "evidence" is purpose: actual archives of reports or products that would properly be appropriate to an experience. there is evidence of psychokinesis happening, yet no longer something presented can make it adequate to nail it down as there being no different clarification, or right away appropriate to a human being. some forms of poltergeist pastime, for instance, will be defined by ability of psychokinesis.

actually there is a theory that has proven things such as that. you mind permitts a certain type of protons electrons and neutrons in an electrical wave that is special and neat to you and have the ability to effect the electrical waves that keep something like a spoon in place, and bend them. The teory is still highly questionable but mroe studies are being done on it. They say anyone can do it but only certain people can with out having to train their brain.

Did they use their hands to do it? Then no. If not, was it Uri Gellar? Then no. If otherwise, please ask them why they haven't proved their talent and won a million bucks yet. www.randi.org James Randi LOVES spoon benders.
