I really want unbiased, non-sarcastic answers. No bashing either side please. What I have observed, based on looking at the internet, is that either side can come up with a good answer (evolution vs. creation). Evoloutionists argue that theory basically means: fact. Creationists basically only have faith (when it comes right down to it). I dont want to know any "evidence" as an answer. I have met plenty of highly educated Christians that used to believe evolution as fact. I never met an evolutionist who has ever given creationism a chance. They only respond with insults and say "do your research" "get an education". Then evolutionist say that Christians are closed minded. Where are the open minded evolutionists who have given creation a second thought?

Quran -
44:45 Like molten brass, it seetheth in their bellies
44:46 As the seething of boiling water.
44:47 (And it will be said): Take him and drag him to the midst of hell,
44:48 Then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water
http://www.skepticsannotatedbible.com/quran/44/index.htm#43

Allah forces us to drink molten brass. Then we are dragged into the "midst" of hell where he pours boiling water on our heads.

First of all, about five seconds into the molten brass beverage, your dead. So to continue, Allah must be keeping you alive somehow so you can enjoy the Allah boiling bath in the middle of hell.

Doesnt this seem needlessly cruel "hands-on" torment? I thought Christian hell was bad...the worst it could get, but then I see Islam trumps it.

I mean, a hands on creative torture maste God...super super tormentor Allah with his molten cocktails...now this sick bastard obviously takes some pleasure, to go through such trouble.

I heard this at a Christian convention last weekend. The first question is not the real question. The real question is: Can you recite one verse for every year you have been a Christian? The point of the sermon was "know the word before you can spread it." Just hoping that this will touch someone. Have a nice day.

I see society on the edge of a nervous breakdown, while many people do not stop partying, I see sadness, and negativity in their faces. I see uninformed rage ready to lash out at anything, hidden under tolerance, I see a time of brutality coming, a society caught between two worldviews and none of them fully satisfactory but no one it seems ever says let us stop for a moment and see what we are doing. It seems like the show must go on, we must never stop and question, just like cattle into cart. What will save us? Truly I see science becming a dictator over humans, objectifying them and it no longer being good enough to be a normal human, unless you have a microscope attached to your eye at all times, you might as well not speak, you opinion and values, your feelings are meaningless to the instituionalised "science". In this way experiments, computers, progress become more important than simple humans, we are worthless and meaningless if we cannot produce microchips

Christians believe that to go to heaven you must accept Jesus as your saviour. Well I'm a Muslim and I don't. Now Hitler accepted Jesus as his savior, but does that mean he goes to Heaven? I haven't killed anyone, let alone thousands of people, but does that mean I have the same fate as a killers' for not believing in Jesus, the so-called son of God.

My opinion: I'm gonna say no, basically because I am a strong believer in Islam.

Why does Religion have to Limit our life so much? It seems all religion does is forbid. Why should we live such a Limited life that revolves around the "rules" and "laws" of the church? What good is free-will if it is stripped from us by the very God that gave it to us?

Life is too short: We have to live it, get body piercings, tattoos, make love to the woman you love even if it is before marriage, see the world, and live OUR life, not the life the church wants us to live.

God can still be in our hearts. We do not have to follow some "rules" or "laws" that were in "fact" modified by the church to their liking. As long as we aren't hurting anyone, we must have the right to Live.

Somebody help me but I don't see why that question is supposed to make me go " Oh yeah, of course, some old white man up the sky that I can't see or hear created me and I better agree that he's up there otherwise..it's baaad"
Who decided that the answer to " Who created all of this" is a personal God? Because some people decided so years ago and put it on paper with absolutely nothing to back it up?
So can anybody come up with some ..."far out"..answer ( like we're all robots operated by this giant computer located on the sun) and hope people will gobble it up (with good PR and marketing strategies of course)?

PS: don't jump on me for my description of God, that's what he looked like to me in those little colorful illustrated Bible books for kids they gave me in Catholic school..

our day to day reality? If you say, god, that's fine; but is it not our experience of this reality that makes it "real" for us? If this is true, then what role, if any, would god play in it? I'm not saying that god doesn't exist; I am just questioning his/her role in it.

I grew up Methodist and was married in Methodist church. I work Sunday mornings and am not able to attend worship serive. I moved and all of the nearby Methodist churches don't have an evening worship service and if they have a Wednesday evening service it conflicts with something else. Anyway, my cousin goes to the Assembly of God and when I visit her I go to her church and even though it is completely different, I do enjoy it. There are some nearby Assemblies of God that have an evening Sunday service and I am thinking about attending. Are the beliefs too different? I don't want to betray my beliefs by worshiping at another church. If they are too different, anyone have suggestions at any other churches I should look into?

Not how they treat religions!
Not how they treat religious ideas!

How do they treat Christians, and does it influence you in any way?

Have you EVER seen a GOOD thing about Christians on the news? Ever? Even seen an alter call where thousands upon thousands of African people are saved and healed from sickness, on the news?

Haven't you noticed the indirect mockeries of Jesus and Christianity on today's TV shows, news programs, etc?

Am I alone here?

I'd say. Ever since Bush was elected the media has tormented him. People wonder why he was voted into office... Ha. I'm wondering why people don't like him anymore.

"In the name of God, most Gracious, most Compassionate".

http://www.geocities.com/banadir2006
what the Quran says: The Quran says in reference to the status of Jesus as a Messenger:"The Messiah (Jesus), son of Mary, was no more than a Messenger before whom many Messengers have passed away; and his mother adhered wholly to truthfulness, and they both ate food (as other mortals do). See how We make Our signs clear to them; and see where they are turning away!"(5:75).
Allah says in the Quran regarding Trinity:"Surely, disbelievers are those who said:‘Allah is the third of the three (in a Trinity).’ But there is no god but One God. And if they cease not from what they say, verily, a painful torment will befall the disbelievers among them (Quran 5:73).
it is interesting to note that the term "son of God" is used in other parts of the Bible to refer to Adam (Bible: Luke 3:38), Israel (Bible: Exodus 4:22) and David (Bible: Psalms 2:7) as well. The creation of God is usually referred to in the Bible as children of God.
Let us look at what Jesus said about himself and about GOD Almighty:"I do nothing of myself (From the NIV Bible, John 8:28)""My Father (GOD) is greater than I (From the NIV Bible, John 14:28)""Father (GOD), into thy hands I commend my spirit (From the NIV Bible, Luke 23:46)""And Jesus said to him,‘Why do you call me good? No one is good but God alone.(From the NIV Bible, Mark 10:18)""No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.(From the NIV Bible, Matthew 24:36)"
Do these quotes suggest at all that Jesus is in the same level as the Creator of the Universe?---------
what the Bible says:
12:28 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all? 12:29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:(12:29, 32)"The Lord our God is one Lord"
12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 12:31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these."Love thy neighbour as thyself."
12:32 And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he.

conclusion: jesus is not GOD, or the son of GOD.
or the trinity of GOD.
HE IS THE MESSENGER OF GOD[ALLAH]
