You should clean the toilet seat with an antibacterial wet wipe and then SIT down and use the toilet the proper way. I cannot stand when I walk into a public bathroom and go into a stall and shut & lock the stall door, turn around, and see urine splattered all over the seat top....SO GROSS!
I mean, I know there are germs from just dozens upon dozens of people sitting on the seat throughout each and every day but I'd much rather take an antibacterial wet wipe to a non-urinated-on toilet seat then cleaning up someone's pee, I mean, isn't someone wanting to avoid getting germies off of a toilet seat and urinating/splattering on the said toilet seat just making things worse for anyone else who has to use that toilet afterwards? Icky....

Morals only come into play when you are in mixed company, you decide honey, but if your going to splash the seat, clean it up afterwards.
I would be moralizing if I were to make judgments about right and wrong, esp. in a way that does not consider your ideas or opinions. As for your own Morals, then how you piss does not relate to standards of good behavior, honesty, or fair dealing. However, how you leave the seat for the next user does, in that it is showing high standards to leave it as you would expect to find it yourself.

Do like all the women did in the beginning of time. Pick up some large leaves or dry grass, and find your favorite spot near a tree, the squat down and lean against the tree with your back and brace yourself and go potty outside. If you find a field with tall grass, that is the best place , because then no one can see you squat down and take a leak. There are no morals when it comes to taking a leak. Just do it and try not to plan so much. Just let it happen. Then when you get done go to the pump outside and pump like heck and wash your hands.

What does standing, and not splashing and dirtying up your bathroom have to do with morals? It's more about cleanliness, get the urine in the toilet and flush.

Then by all means sit.
It's wrong to expect other people to sit in your pee.
Or, at the very least, if you have some uncontrolable phobia (which you should seek help for), lift the seat so others don't have to sit in your pee.

Okay look, if ur a man or a woman, u need to sit if ur gonna SHlT. if ur a girl n need to pee, then u ned to sit, if ur a man, face the toilet, stand, aim, and drain the main vien! hope that cleared it up for everyone!
