I'd say finding out Martin Luther was full of hate
...Unfortunately few popular books on Luther go into detail about Luther's anti-Jewishness, or even mention that he had a hatred for Jews at all. This has resulted in a biased outlook towards Martin Luther and Christianity. This unawareness of Luther's sinister side, while honoring his "righteousness" leads to a ratcheting promotion of Luther which supports a "good" public image while also transporting his Jewish beliefs to those who carry the seeds of anti-Semitism. This will present an unwanted dilemma for many Christians because Luther represents the birth of Protestant Christianity as well as the genesis of the special brand of Jewish hatred that flourished only in Germany.

Well, if I had been Judas, being singled out by Jesus at the Last Supper would have been embarrassing.
From the book of Matthew, King James Version (Jesus is speaking here):
26:24 The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born.
26:25 Then Judas, which betrayed him, answered and said, Master, is it I? He said unto him, Thou hast said.
The Bible doesn't say whether Judas was embarrassed, but he was certainly anguished enough when he realized what he had done, that he ended up killing himself.

When he realised that he was instrumental and a co-conspirator (unknowingly) in the plot to kill Jesus, and that Jesus was indeed going to die (he wasn't going to use some miracle to escape from his captors), he went back to the priests and asked them to let Jesus go but they refused...so he threw the 30 pieces of silver he had been given to the ground.
I think at this moment, it was the most embarassing for him.

Pretty much when heard Jesus say...
17When evening came, Jesus arrived with the Twelve. 18While they were reclining at the table eating, he said, "I tell you the truth, one of you will betray me—one who is eating with me."
19They were saddened, and one by one they said to him, "Surely not I?"
20"It is one of the Twelve," he replied, "one who dips bread into the bowl with me. 21The Son of Man will go just as it is written about him. But woe to that man who betrays the Son of Man! It would be better for him if he had not been born."

The part where he turned Jesus over for just thirty pieces of silver. He could've gotten at least fifty.

after "betraying" (if you want to look at it that way) jesus, turning around and killing himself. I guess he should have thought it over more, given it wasn't part of some larger plan.
