Whatever happened to this idea?

"11. As American Witches, we are not threatened by debates on the history of the Craft, the origins of various aspects of different traditions. We are concerned with our present, and our future. "

It's not that long Queenstar compared to some of the answers I've seen.

"Sprout, some of your answers to questions on Wicca are just as prejudiced as Zooms!"

Actually, just about ANY Neopagan will be even more opinionated in their answers than than The Notorious Dr. Zoom Zoom. The worst online arguments I see on NGs. BBs, etc.,are between Wiccans and other Wiccans. Everybody's opinionated, because everybody has an opinion.

I'm inclined to agree with Dana S. I think Dr. Z has the right to say what he says, and everyone has the right to accept or reject it, she has the right to says what she says, and everyone can accept or reject it, I can say what I say, etc.

Isn't that what freedom of thought really is, or am I wrong???

Um, well, I picked your answer as a best answer, & I get all kinds of emails now from Wiccans telling me how I shouldn't believe you, etc. One guy even told me he "studied different religions in collage". Too bad they didn't teach 6th grade spelling there too at "collage". LOL! It seems to me like they can't stand someone who doesn't think like they do, just based on the emails I get.

I guess they don't like what you say so they want to silence you? No wonder you're "Notorious"! LOL!

But at any rate, you've got your message across, probably to more people than before when your answer got deleted. It'll be interesting to see how long this question stays up. Good work Dr. Z!

I guess you offended someone who doesn't want to debate the history of the Craft. Clearly some of these so-called "Wiccans" haven't even read your previous answers! LOL! There are Wiccans who try to silence me as well on Yahoo Answers.

While I may not agree with everything you say, I don't believe in censorship either. It's refreshing in a way to hear from a xtian who doesn't simply say "You're all Satanists! You're going to burn in Hell!", etc.

I think in all fairness you should be allowed to post your answers, just as I'm allowed to post mine.

Yahoo staff have about 4 seconds to figure out if any complaint is valid or not.

And sometimes, of course, they make mistakes.

Someone with a different belief may have reported you for reposting links to have your message removed.

There is a link in your email to respond about the violation notice. I did and challenged my violation on an answer and when it was overturned I got my points back.

Good Luck!

Sprout, some of your answers to questions on Wicca are just as prejudiced as Zooms!

To the question: maybe you offended someone!

Maybe it had too many web references? I'm not sure it had to do with the content. Perhaps it was just a technical thing?

Some avid Christian Extremist probably 'flagged you' and Yahoo Answers deleted without looking into it further....

Maybe because your answers are inaccurate and prejudice.

It may help if people answering this question read some of the links posted.

Edit: Silver Wolf, I'd like to see how my answers are prejudice.
