Why does Religion have to Limit our life so much? It seems all religion does is forbid. Why should we live such a Limited life that revolves around the "rules" and "laws" of the church? What good is free-will if it is stripped from us by the very God that gave it to us?

Life is too short: We have to live it, get body piercings, tattoos, make love to the woman you love even if it is before marriage, see the world, and live OUR life, not the life the church wants us to live.

God can still be in our hearts. We do not have to follow some "rules" or "laws" that were in "fact" modified by the church to their liking. As long as we aren't hurting anyone, we must have the right to Live.

The world would be in a state of complete and utter anarchy if everyone felt and lived as you imply in your statement above!

No, no, and no.

"Free will"

The only limitations you make are your own. The Church "forces" nothing.

Jesus summed up the "laws":

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and soul"

I'm pretty sure if you were doing just that you wouldn't need to control your own life rather than letting the Creator of the Universe guide your path, who, by the way, doesn't want you to sleep with your as-of-yet wives.

"If you love me, obey me"

-Jesus.

Do you love God more the life he has given you to live?

Your answer from Christianity and Not Religion!

(Matthew 22:37-to-40) Jesus said to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.

(Mat 22:38) This is the first and great commandment.

(Mat 22:39) And the second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

(Mat 22:40) On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.

Thanks, RR

Don't ever let someone tell you how to live your life. These people who claim to know the only way to heaven know no more than you. God knows what you feel. Not no one else. So I wouldn't worry, If you know you truely accept god nothing else matters.

You have the wrong religion. Jesus said that if you know the truth, then the truth will set you free.
