Not how they treat religions!
Not how they treat religious ideas!
How do they treat Christians, and does it influence you in any way?
Have you EVER seen a GOOD thing about Christians on the news? Ever? Even seen an alter call where thousands upon thousands of African people are saved and healed from sickness, on the news?
Haven't you noticed the indirect mockeries of Jesus and Christianity on today's TV shows, news programs, etc?
Am I alone here?
I'd say. Ever since Bush was elected the media has tormented him. People wonder why he was voted into office... Ha. I'm wondering why people don't like him anymore.

Who is more assertive: Those who propose the gay marraige laws or those who defend the old laws?
We are not MAKING NEW LAWS TO CONTROL THE GOVERNMENT; WE ARE DEFENDING AMERICAN MORALS.

"Even seen an alter call where thousands upon thousands of African people are saved and healed from sickness, on the news?"
If you're going to insist on being ridiculed, you don't get to complain when it happens. You may as well wear a "kick me" sign on your back if you're going to make such obviously false claims in public and whine about being mistreated when people don't believe you.
Lying is not an American moral.
You're not in any position to be claiming to defend morality or the United States. This country is too good for people who behave like that.

You (as with most Christians) are truly, truly deluded.
If anything, the media, government, military, educational system are Christian biased. G.Dubya blatantly said (in a debate for the 2004 election) that he would let his religion influence his decisions as president. The news is constantly polishing up public leaders and politicians with clips and snippets of them at church and other religious functions. Christian concepts are already pushed in our schools and Christians still want to push more: teaching creation as a science equivalent???? Are you kidding me? While I will admit that fundamentalist wackos are definitely exploited by the media (God Warrior anyone), this is true for fundamentalist wackos from any faith. The reason you all get so up in arms about it is because sometimes the media actually takes an unbiased viewpoint and (some) Christians cannot respect an objective viewpoint and expect everyone to agree with their reasoning.

On Bush...he WASNT elected into office in case you missed the popular vote count....the government just wont get rid of the ancient electoral college, and carefully placed people in areas of government(supreme court for example), helped him steal it from Gore.
On Christians...if they would jus stop "rewriting" and "reinterpreting" their Bible and trying to force their closed minded opinions on every one who doesn't agree, realize that we are all "Sons" of God, and stick a sock in Pat Robertson's mouth, then maybe nobody would have much to say.

Maybe if the world of Christianity stopped obsessing about things like gay marriage, and more pressing problems like war and poverty, then Christians would stop looking like such utterly depraved hypocrites.
Why are Christians overwhelmingly in favor of the death penalty, wars and so against welfare for the poor and dispossessed?

When Christians have done good things it has been reported. Don't confuse George W with Christianity. He may be a child of God, it is not for me to judge, but his public positions do not reflect the Christian message. He is loved by the modern day pharisees. But he gets his way by lying to the American people in order to send soldiers to die overseas for his glory.
