I have, for my brother in law. I watched the Kent Hovind tapes. They were absolutely rediculous from the first one.

I have read a fair amount of original ID and Creationist material only because I have a high level of interest in the question of evolution. I always try to approach ID/Creationist pieces with an open mind and in the end I find both very unsatisfying in terms of their believability. In fact, with ID, there's nothing to believe since there are no concrete predictions and with Creationism, there isn't even a consisten hypothesis.

I was questioning creationism long before I knew about evolution (yes, since I was fairly young). My best explanation was that the book of Genesis was metaphorical. I still think it's a decent compromise between the two beliefs.

Yes, but throught the years I have seen the religious argument change from an absolute literal interpretation of the bible to metaphoric interpretation as it conflicts more and more with science. Based on this, the question should be, how long will it be until all meaning in the bible is lost and you would be able to gain the same insight from reading Winnie the Pooh?

As I stated in the last question. YES...I was a christian and accepted the whole idea of creation. Now I have educated myself and have a different view. I studied all apsects of both creation and evolution and have accepted evolution as the truth.

Most atheists were raised to be religious. I know I was. I was pretty young, but there probably was a time that I believed in creationism.
There is no reason to give it more of a chance. It doesn't match the fossil record. It can't be considered a valid theory unless it does.

Great scientists like Johannes KEPLER saw God's magnificance and constantly gave praise to God Almighty for his wonderful laws built into nature. He was a creationist.
So did Isaac NEWTON.......and he wrote 1 million words about his LITERAL belief in the Scripture. He was a creationist. " I have a fundamental belief in the Word of God....I study the Bible daily". - Isaac Newton
The electromagnetic equations of James Clerk Maxwell attest to the Magnificant mathematical inginuity of the Creator.
He was a Creationist.

I have appeared at various of the propaganda internet sites. They bounce to each and each feasible end. They argue usually about minor information and bypass the vast image. They use 30 12 months previous idea to argue adversarial to truly than modern wondering. They make vast denials of fossil evidence it particularly is modern. They bypass over such issues as DNA regression analyze. they are going to under no circumstances manage fossil stratification that obviously shows the order of evolution if no longer the age. They blow through evolution in such issues as cattle that become brought about through people. My concepts are straight forward. they're the worst examples of starting up with a end and attempting to make the evidence experience it. good technological expertise begins with the evidence and tries to examine what it ability.

Yes.
I have been searching the internet sites that deal with creationism, and it's been frustrating to see the same illogical ideas backed up with the bible over and over and over.
Got anything yet?
