Yes I know about how Paul said absent from the body is present with the Lord, but when you die and go to Heaven, or you are a christian that is you might be consious where you are, but you will not have a body now that is scary and freaky. Do are you scared? I probablly will be. I had 2 abortions a few years ago as I were not a Christian back then even though I believe abortions are wrong I also believe since they are in Heaven now I believe I did them a favor. In Heaven they get love, on this earth they would get hate from people. And they would have gone through troubles, because all this world offers is trouble, and I would not have wanted my kids to go through the **** this world offers. At least they are seeing Jesus face to face and living in glory where it is so beautuful that the best parts of earth cannot compare to Heaven. I will meat my children one day, soon I hope as my nana is there too living in her mansion. But to be honest when it comes to death I will **** myself,

I sometimes ask questions about the "rules" or "laws" of the church and religion. Some Christians don't agree with the rules of the Catholic religion. In some religions you can have sex before marriage and in some you simply can't. Almost all religions follow the one path, and that is the path that leads you closer to god.

So what makes you think that the "Rules" and "Laws" surrounding your church and religion are the "righteous" ones? Doesn't it make you question: Who wrote these rules? Why are the different from religion to religion?

Also, is it true that Churches modified their Rules and Laws to their likings?

You could have nuclear WWIII or major famine, but it would take more than a lifetime for humans to die off completely.

My house is haunted by a woman who died of breast cancer. She haunts my house daily, and today I fell extremely ill because of her. All I know is that she was a French Professor at the University of Miami, but I need to know more like her name. I really need help, because this can get out of hand. Please help me with a site to find out what's wrong with my home.

Quran 2:96 And thou wilt find them greediest of mankind for life and (greedier) than the idolaters. (Each) one of them would like to be allowed to live a thousand years. And to live (a thousand years) would be no means remove him the doom. Allah is Seer of what they do. fromhttp://www.skepticsannotatedbible.com/quran/2/index.htm#95

in genesis 34:1 it says:

God said to jacob, "Arise,go up to Bethel, and settle there. Make an alter there to the God who appeared to you when you fled from your brother Esau."

here it is. in the christian bible the chosen one of 'God', Jacob, worshping two gods.
I repeat there are TWO different gods mentioned in the bible.
i know there are other places in the bible that mention this. and what i want to know is:
what do christians think about this?
why does it go unquestioned?
why has it not been removed if you are so 'one god' oriented
and what excuse is given to those who do question it.
the person who answers all of my questions will get 10 points and will broaden an agnostic's mind to further inner christian workings.
please i am only curious
a happy january to you all

Quran 62:5 SHAKIR: The likeness of those who were charged with the Taurat, then they did not observe it, is as the likeness of the *** bearing books, evil is the likeness of the people who reject the communications of Allah; and Allah does not guide the unjust people.

Doesnt Allah sound like some bully in the schoolyard. I mean, the guy who really deserves to get his head kicked in.

Can you imagine such a petty God...this Islamic Allah?

Muslims, excuse me that I dont think this sounds like God:
Quran 8:67 “it is not for any prophet to have captives until he hath made slaughter in the land.http://cwis.usc.edu/dept/msa/quran/008.qmt.html

Quran 9:29 “fight (jihad) those who believe not in allah” http://cwis.usc.edu/dept/msa/quran/009.qmt.html

Excuse me, that I am not suprised about all the hatred and violence Muslims do...after all, I have read the inspiration for this hatred...the very source or cause...its called the QURAN.

A belief or practice resulting from ignorance, fear of the unknown, trust in magic or chance, or a false conception of causation.

An irrational abject attitude of mind toward the supernatural, nature, or God resulting from superstition.

If it is sinful to believe in superstition, then why does religion exist when it in itself is Superstition?

Give it all, like one answer said, He doesn't want your money, He wants you. The Christian Church does not sacrifice animals, worship on Saturdays, follow the Old Testament heavy rules except tithing. Why is that?? Because they want to extract your money thru coercion. See the beautiful churches, temples, the Mormons build. They enforce the rule of tithing with an iron fist. See what has happened in the Catholic Church because the people tithe and dare not ask questions. If God guides, God provides. But has the leadrship have that kind of faith? They would do much better financially with a congregation following the 2nd.comandment that Jesus perscribed. Love thy neighbor as thyself.

Do not give me no man knows the day or hour crap either. Do you really believe that this world will last for another 1000 years. I do not believe it will. Look at this global warming thing it is becoming deadlier by the day and scientists are saying this world will not last too much longer. The mark of the beast 666 is already created(In the EU parlement) The US and Israel are looking to attack Iran. Iran hope to have a bomb by 2009, countries are now going nuclear. Australia in Melbourne, the water dams are 38% full, and becomeing less, soon there will be no water in the dams.Chipping is now being tested on Humans and will be trialled at the end of the year. So do you Christians(real Christians please)believe Jesus will come back within 1000 years? I believe within 50, that is just my opinion, and I will not even be here in 50 years, I will be in Heaven not worried about when the return will be as I will already by there. My nana is in Heaven, enjoying Heaven and her Mansion
