When people have come to such a place that they hold the right of a woman to choose over a baby's right to be born, does it seem that we are nearing the end?

A pastor told me innocent people can not be found guilty if they are innocent, and to believe otherwise was a sin. (My paraphrase on his words) I have my own thoughts on this, but wanted to know what other Christians, Muslims, Hebrews, or any other non-athiests thought about this.

Please tell me why you think god exists. Because other than being brainwashed by your parents to believe in god as a child, considering world logic, why? Don't give me the crap about "who created the world", because that cannot be found out by humans so you can't say it was necessarily god because you think so. Also, don't tell me that religion is what causes good and evil. There are plenty of aetheists around the world who have natural morals and such. Humans are dominant over everything else, there is nothing that can affect the Earth except for us.

Genesis 35:1
God said to jacob, "Arise,go up to Bethel, and settle there. Make an alter there to the God who appeared to you when you fled from your brother Esau."
here it is.in the christian bible the chosen one of 'God', Jacob, worshping two gods. only when one god has told him to worship another does he purge his household of idols
I repeat there are TWO different gods mentioned in the bible. and evidence of jacob acknowledging both
iknow there are other places in the bible that mention this. Also know that the bible is NOT the actual work of god but a story passed down and compiled by Moses
a)what do christians think about this?
b)what do athiests or people of any other religion think of this?does it sound to you like more than one god?
c)why does it go unquestioned?
d)why has it not been removed if you are so 'one god' oriented
and what excuse is given to those who do question it.and if it is god talking then why not say build an alter to "me"or build an alter to your "one lord"

According to my best friend, i flirt too much. Here's the thing- i don't mean to. I didn't even think about it until she brought it up. I've always had more guy friends than girls, because i'm more comfortable with them.

I don't even think about it. I just say what i think, and laugh at their jokes. It isn't that i'm trying to flirt- i'm just having fun with my friends. But according to my best friend, "John" absolutely adores me, and another friend acts like he likes me too. So just pray that i don't do anything rash, because sometimes i really want a BF, even though i know its not that important. And i don't want my friends to get hurt, b/c i don't like them like that.

So thanks for listening to crazy, disfunctional me!

What do you have so far that proves the illegitimacy of god? So far I have:

-To experience anything you need a physical brain, so that disproves afterlife.

-No one has proof of god anyways, so how can we even start disproving it?

-Aetheists are the people with faster evolving brains, and we therefore are smart enough to see past the fairytale of religion.

-The christians who say we're just insecure about ourselves: of course we're insecure! the christians have a reign of terror and ridiculousness going on.

-All religions brainwash others, aetheism doesn't do any sort of advertisement like that except to solve issues like stem cell research.

So, do we agree? And please post any other disproving comments.

13 When under trial, let no one say: “I am being tried by God.” For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone. 14 But each one is tried by being drawn out and enticed by his own desire. 15 Then the desire, when it has become fertile, gives birth to sin; in turn, sin, when it has been accomplished, brings forth death.

He managed to put together the Universe, and created man from clay (imagine that) and then took one rib to create woman. Basically He had no problem working with his hands but when the time came to write he found out he was not good with words. Instead of sending one message only to all corners of the earth by some supernatural mean or by having a team of multilingual travelling prophets travelling at the speed of light to spread his One and ONLY message simultaneously no he lays down the law to Moses and then waits hundreds of years to send his son but then he leaves out the Chinese, the Australians, the Africans the South Americans they didn't know of the News in Palestine. By the time the News arrive in the New World there had been another prophet sent by Him with conflicting messages. I tell you God is not good with words. He must be dyslexic and has messed up His Messages really bad. That's why we need to get a nuclear weapon and settle this dispute once and for all Amen

I've seen many Muslims here misquote the Bible, then write what the Koran says. Why don't they study the Bible before quoting it?
If I were to try to refute something in the Koran, I would study everything the Koran says about the topic, not pick one verse to analyze.

(Now adays people fight over silly stuff like land, oil, religion, money, power & many more)
Have all mankind forgetten why god had created us? To protect the nature & animals, help each other in our difficult times, Share the love with 1 another. God must be really a shamed now cause he had created monster, fight over silly stuff which it doesn't even belong 2 them since they life are on rent. We are all just a visitor to this earth & once the time is up we leave with the soul but our body are left behind us. The war can be stop if we all start 2 know the word forgiveness. Why the weahter is going mad these days cause god want it 2 be that way since he had created monster & he is very unhappy with all of us. Even though god send his angel down in different form or different religion but don't we all see his angel taught us the same thing i.e. to remember god, he is 1, speak the truth, never hurt anyones feeling & love each other more. But in the end we all send him back!! WHY??

Suppose there were no intelligence behind the universe. In that case nobody designed my brain for the purpose of thinking. Thought is merely the by product of some atomes within my skull. But if so, how can I trust my own thinking to be true?...But if I can't trust my own thinking, of course, I can't trust the arguments leading toward atheism, and therefore have no reason to be an athiest, or anything else.

Bottom Line:

Unless I believe in God, I can't believe in thought; so I can never use thought to disbelieve in God

I live in New Hampshire, and over the next year we get a chance to meet all the candidates running for President. They wander through town frequently and often stop to talk in small diners and on street corners, plus meeting in living rooms of local party activists and supporters.

Religion has played a big role in recent elections, primarily on behalf of conservative Christians. But Atheists make up betweeen 8 and 15% of the population, more than enough to tip a close election.

So, what questions specifically geared toward atheists' interests should the candidates answer in debate sessions and other forums over the next year?

What positions would you like to see them articulate as they prepare to take to the national stage?

Their neighbors were waching their property. I was working in another part of the state. One night I dreamed someone was being murdered in my folks house. It was so vivid I couldn't get over it. I wanted to call their neighbor and ask if everything was ok. I was afraid they would think I was being silly and just had a bad night mare. So I prayed about it. Next moring I talked to a friend. She could tell I was upset, but made me some coffee and assured me it was a bad dream. A few weeks later I heard about the woman who escapted the bad storm that night in my folks house. She had to break in. There was no electricity, heat or phone. It had been shut off including water. The woman managed to find enough old clothes, blankets and ect. to stay alive till morning and get help. How did this happen? The dream was so close to reality. I'm not psychic--never have been and don't claim to be. Had I called the neighbor it would have saved a lot of trouble. No one thought to look in that house ?

Do you love all people unconditionally, or at least try to? Are you learning to love the other people around you? Even when their actions are dishonorable in your eyes? Even when they are cruel to you? What do you do to keep your heart open to your fellow men and women?
