Keep this in mind. Man and his law versus Gods Law.
If you truly believe that you are innocent and state your case before a Judge in Man's law after being arrested regarldess of the circumstances.....dress warm because the Prisons are cold.
It doesn;t matter if your innocent or guilt...what matters is assigning blame and you need representation for that. You walk in to a court room with no defense,...your a cooked Goose

If you are innocent. NO , it is not a sin to disagree with a judge. No judge is God, nor is he perfect ? Many people in prisons, are INNOCENTS> They find DNA to prove it all the time.
Your pastor is wrong. You are to follow Gods law, which is above mans law. Mans laws, will get worse.

It's not a sin, it is an opinion. The pastors are talking things a bit far.

Hate to say it, but your pastor is full of baloney. He's buying that stuff that all authority comes from God literally. Judges have made mistakes int he past and will make them again. By the way, that passage about authority from God was also used to justify absolute monarchy, feudalism and slavery.

Even a superior court judge is a failable human. He will get it wrong sometimes too... maybe that pastor has too much faith in man.

Yes, you can disagree, and your pastor is a bit mistaken if you ask me. The Bible tells us that God chooses the authorities, but that doesn't mean those authorities will necessarly follow God's word.

Your pastor is full of crap. He must be one of those right-wing fundamentalists or he's smoking too much weed. Dump him and get a pastor that is in touch with reality.

confident, you may take civil action, yet first you need to record a complaint with the State Bar association. they must furnish you a decision, and if its on your choose then you definately take your favorable determination to civil courtroom for civil action against the choose. and not applying a Bar determination on your choose your odds are very undesirable to win something against a choose.
