When people have come to such a place that they hold the right of a woman to choose over a baby's right to be born, does it seem that we are nearing the end?

Nebtet: that's my point. I'm not minding women's business, I'm speaking in defense of the innocent unborn whose right to live has been revoked in favor of a woman's right to choose whether it lives or dies. You should address the question, not what you think I mean.

Lois: God can create life, you and I cannot. God knows everything, past present and future. We do not. When you have God's power and knowledge, then you can decide whether someone can live or die.

Nebet: They are going to have a future in Heaven with their Creator. You call me anti-choice, but it's just that I value life above choice, not despise choice. I have no more right, nor do you, to end another's life because I feel the end is near or because the mother doesn't want to give birth.

Yes, correct. It fulfills the scripture that in the end times, great iniquity will exist within the land and the love of many will grow cold.

It depends upon when exactly a baby is considered to have an independent soul. hinduism believes the 7th day of conception, the luck lady comes to create unique identity of the child.
I have personally seen (I have worked as ultrasound sales/service engineer) abortion (first and last time) after 2.5 month of pregnancy. When the chemical reaches the fetus, fetus uses hands/legs wildly exactly like when I was getting drowned for the first time when I was ~12 years old. I felt like I was witnessing a murder. After seeing that I changed my field. (I wonder there are so many disturbing videos out there on internet, why not this kind)
However I do believe each woman has right to decide and have a planned pregnancy, provided that they see what I saw on live ultrasound during abortion. There are many cases abortion might be helpful, for example a genetically mutated child with disability, rape victim, underage mothers, medical conditions etc.
To answer your question, Yes, you can interpret it that way, but ofcourse, it will be your interpretation and not mine.

No.
Would you rather the woman have the baby and abandon it? I don't think so.
Extremists are the ones who are anti-abortion. I personally would not want to have one, but if I was 16yrs old or if I was raped or if I was extremely poor, or if I had a serious disease that would be passed on to the baby then it should be MY RIGHT to terminate the pregnancy.
It is MY body, and MY right. A baby in the first trimester hold the highest chance for miscarriage or something else called 'spontaneous abortion' which is when your body removes it should something be wrong with the fetus. THEREFORE, if your body can choose to abort the baby and remove the 'baby's right to be born', then why can a woman not choose to abort the baby right at the beginning once she finds out with out guilt. It is not hurting anyone, and the biggest anti-abortion advocates are MEN. The ones who do not get pregnant, the ones who can walk away.
Abortions are the choice of the pregnant woman. Not her community, not her religion, not her family, not a bunch of strangers on the Internet.

Uhm, all these things abortion, being gay, ect, have been around since the dawning of time. In the dark ages women had willful abortions all the time. They ate eurogut to induce them. In fact, if a pregnancy occured out of wedlock it fell to the woman to "do something about it" and she would go and get help from some old woman in the town who would give her the eurogut. Like, everthing that happens today has always happened. Doesn't take a genuis to look around at the human race and deduce that we are going to destroy ourselves. Nation has always risen against nation, people have always hatted, committed crime. All along the way people have always thought the end was near.

God killed thousands of fetuses, babies and children in the biblical flood, and a whole bunch more got burned alive in Sodom and Gomorrah, and he didn't express so much as a single regret; so I don't think your deity has any problem with people aborting babies. Besides, if people die before they are born, then they never have a chance to sin, and thus they go straight to heaven, right? So, really, you should be glad for abortions. It means Satan wins fewer souls.

sure. anything can be viewed as a "sign of the end times" if that's what you're looking to find. i'm puzzled tho. why are you concerned with the right of a fetus to develop when you're expecting the world it'll be born into to be turned into a hellhole at any minute? why are you insisting that innocent babies be born just so they can suffer the tortures of your god's fiery wrath?
you people don't make sense.
PS. instead of minding the business of women you don't even know how about doing something useful? like educating yourself on the affects of environmental deterioration and helping to reverse the damage so that those little babies you profess to care so much about are born into a livable world.
PPS. ha! anti-choice (probably Christians) thumb downing me. i guess it's a whole lot more fun to self righteously stick your busy body noses into the private lives of strangers than to actually DO something good for the world. sorry but you folks make me need to puke.
PPSS. i did answer your question. you didn't answer my questions. you're wanting babies to be born while you're anticipating the end of the world at any moment. why? when you believe they'll have no future.

No it's a sign of further evolution of mankind. But those who cannot see the difference between a living human being, with that of an unborn fetus with no rights whatsoever, has not evolved yet.
In 2006 American voters finally stated that they want stem cell research and they've effectively killed all major loopholes to the denial of women's rights.
The end IS near. To the archaic male centric religions of the past...Rejoice!

You know I am person who is pro-choice and pro-life. First off both the guy and the girl have the choice. Don't give me the stuff about the girl being raped either because more than likely there is a way that the girl could have prevented the act from taking place. However she chose not to think about all the consquences of what she was going to do. yes that means people you have to THINK before you act. You make the choice, you live with the consequence. Even if she can't afford to have the kid, I know of people that would gladly take that kid as their own before letting it die. What's wrong with giving to someone who actually wants it? Nothing.

Well, no. It is not one of the signs of the end of the world. However, the trouble comes from where the war is being fought as we speak. fathers killing sons. mother killing already born children, kids killing fathers, girls killing mother's brother's. Sound familar? Besides, death is a beginning, getting rid of worn out bodies is all death is. Why, are you afraid? You shouldn't be. It is a natural part of life.

That's pretty presumtuous.
First things first. Get Christians to STOP doing NO FAULT DIVORCES. It goes against Jesus. Let's start with the Christians.
You also have Christians engaging in sex before marriage. That has to stop to.
Christians should clean their own house first.

Abortion rights are not exactly a new thing. They meant the end of back-alley abortions, and they meant the end of women *not* having the right to decide what happens to their bodies and their lives, and they meant the end of the births of unwanted babies who would grow up drug addicted, abused, and/or neglected. A fetus does not have the "right to be born", it is not a person. The person who is pregnant has the rights.
