That is, God created time (see that described in the first few pages of Genesis).
So rather, try to get your noodle around the question: how does God exist before the creation of time as we know it? That is even harder to comprehend!

He is timeless my friend. he created time so He is not bound by it. A carpenter can amke a chair, but he is not forced to sit in it. Same with God.
