I'm only a couple years older than you and I kind of went through the same thing, and I'll admit I was really freaked on for awhile. Then I prayed to God and asked him to comfort me. It worked and I felt so much better. He also gave me so many signs that he loves me. I just know that he's out there caring for me all the time. Talk to someone you know in person about this, or on the phone. It's a lot more comforting if you can hear the person's voice. Most importantly try to relax and live a loving life. It's is hard to forget about, but when you do start thinking about it, think of something happier. Just try and be happy.
Just remember this,
God loves you
Jesus loves you
Your family and friends love you,
and all Christians love you.

First of all, let me say that I have read some of the responses. contrary to what some of the answers were, there will be A "catching away" and Jesus will return. That so many others say he won't and that it is not real is told about in the scriptures.
Now, saying that, let me say that you should not worry about when the end will be. It will do no good. Just live the best you can for God and let the end come whenever it comes, whether it's during your lifetime or after you have passed on from old age.
Like you I used to be afraid of that time even though I was A Christian. When I was fifteen I was afraid Christ would return before I turned sixteen and got to drive. When I turned sixteen, I was afraid he would come back before I turned eighteen and could move out on my own. When I turned eighteen, I was afraid he would come back before I got out of the military, which was four years away.
My dad, who was the pastor of A church told me something I will never forget. He told me that I had to plan for the future each day, but to live like there would be no tomorrow.
I just turned 45 years old and Christ has not come yet, but he will. Signs are there that we could not understand years ago, but were foretold.
My advice to you is to continue living for Jesus and don't worry about when he is coming back. If he does come back in your lifetime, I promise you that you will not miss this world in the least because of all the joys that wait for you. If he doesn't come in your lifetime, then you will have lived A full life of peace because you were prepared and had no need to worry about what would happen if he did come.
I know you are young and this world holds much appeal for you, but believe me, when Jesus returns and takes us home we will not even think of this world any more because of the happiness and joy that will be experiencing there.

The December 21, 2012 prediction is finished rubbish. Mayans on no account even mentioned it grow to be the top of the international. They mentioned it grow to be the top of a calendar cycle - no diverse from our December 31, 1999. could desire to the international end on December 21, 2012? of course it may desire to, even though it may desire to easily as truthfully end the next day, or 1000 years from now, or a million, or billion. there's no thank you to foretell it, and there is not any longer something to earnings in fretting over it. permit's merely assume that the solar will upward push December 22, 2012 and save on with our lives as we regularly could.

please don't freak out.

I know the Christian faith dose make it sound very scary.

Focus on your life, no one knows when the end of the world will be, (sure some might guess at different times in different years).
But i have now lived passed two so called ENDS of the World.

So if and when the world will end.. there is nothing you can do to stop it or speed it up.
Just live your life now.. Do what you want to do.
If you say,, its going to end in 2 years, and sit around doing nothing bumming around. then all you have done is waisted your life.

Get out there, LIFE be in IT.
Experience it.. have fun in it... make mistakes and learn by them.
Don't let the worries of the world cripple you and your efforts to be a good person. Help where you feel you can , and remember to keep smiling..

Blessings ALD

Ok first of all, at your age this stuff does sound scarry, I used to lay in my bed and worry that the rapture was going to take place and it scarred me. Calmn down. It is OK. You need not worry. If you asked God into your heart and you are living for the Lord then you have nothing to worry about. Just like wondering about a move to a new house or a new neigbhorhood, Heaven at this point feels that way to you. I know I used to think wow when we get to heaven all we are going to do is pray and I can't even pray twenty minutes on earth how in the name of Jimmy am I going to pray twenty four seven.

You are comparing heaven to earth and because of your view of earth Heaven seems a bit boring. Don't worry yourself so. Live your life for the Lord, and when the rapture takes place you will go to heaven, and it will not take Long for you to adjust to what God has in store. You do not have to be afraid, God is not the Author of fear. Ask God to be with you and to ease your fears and Just don't try to ponder Heave verses earth right now, just live for the Lord and as you get older, God will help you to understand better.

If your fear is to the point that at night your are afraid to go to sleep, open your Bible and find a scripture that best comforts you and read it. Then pray and when you pray pray that God will give you a peaceful sleep. And remember in time you will understand. You don't have to live in fear and you will learn to accept what God has given us. You are not alone in how you feel. You are young and you don't understand that is OK again, you will in time.

Sweetie - don't worry. God has it covered. People have thought it was the end of the world for many generations. It might be, but then again it might not be. Just live your life, love God and Jesus, do your homework, love your family, enjoy life. Life is too short to worry about the end of the world. If you are a Christian, you're safe.

The people thought the world was coming to an end when the Roman Empire crumbled, and in every generation since then. If it actually did happen, and the world came to an end, every person on earth would be scared.

Don't use that as an excuse not to do your homework!

i hate those idiots who say the end is near. the Bible says no one knows the date or time not even the Son Only the Father knows. but these morons know more than Jesus. I don't even pay attention to them. keep your eyes on Jesus. He loves you. Someone who would die for you would certainly not hurt you. Just live your live, have fun your only 14. You have a long life ahead of you. dont listen to idiots. i always tell them that if they are going to quote the Bible to me they better read it first.

Be strong....don't believe everything some christians tell you..many are wolves in sheeps clothing. Yes, things are getting worse..will get even worse..but most believers will flee when the time is right..they will get out into the bush etc so that things may be a little easier. God will help protect them....and we do not know when this is going to happen..it may not be in your lifetime.
My advice is to study scripture for yourself...get to know all about God..develop a close relationship with Him..talk to Him about all this..just like u typed it to us..He will listen to everything no matter how you say it..asl for understsnding, strength, courage..ask Him to draw you closer to him..He will get you through whatever comes your way.
Look foreward to what happens after the end.....heaven, being with God..no more pain..no more sin..no more end times to fear.......
When the end times happen..you will then be also excited knowing Jesus is really almost here....yes..noone likes horrible things....
Have faith and may God Bless you abundantly and equip you to deal with all things, present and future.

If you have made Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior then you have nothing to worry about. I believe we are living the last days, because everything is happening as Jesus said it would. Live your life the way a Christian should and all will be fine.
