Do not give me no man knows the day or hour crap either. Do you really believe that this world will last for another 1000 years. I do not believe it will. Look at this global warming thing it is becoming deadlier by the day and scientists are saying this world will not last too much longer. The mark of the beast 666 is already created(In the EU parlement) The US and Israel are looking to attack Iran. Iran hope to have a bomb by 2009, countries are now going nuclear. Australia in Melbourne, the water dams are 38% full, and becomeing less, soon there will be no water in the dams.Chipping is now being tested on Humans and will be trialled at the end of the year. So do you Christians(real Christians please)believe Jesus will come back within 1000 years? I believe within 50, that is just my opinion, and I will not even be here in 50 years, I will be in Heaven not worried about when the return will be as I will already by there. My nana is in Heaven, enjoying Heaven and her Mansion

And she does not have to worry about people telling her no man knows the day or hour, because she is already home and hose. She would not want to come back here if you paid her. She is very happy where she is. My children are up there too. I had 2 abortions a few years ago, as I were not a Christian back then, I believe even though I know that abortions are wrong, I believe I did them a favor, as I am glad I did not bring them into this evil world, now they are enjoying Heaven, and know no sin. And they are enjoying Jesus face to face too. right now.

The "no man knows the hour nor day of the coming of the Son of Man. Not even the angels nor the Son of Man, himself. Only the Father knows." This does not have any thing to do with the 1000 year reign of Christ. Its the sign of when Satan will be given full reign for seven years.

The earth will not be like we know it today. The new heavens and earth will be here, for this one will pass away.

In order for one to understand what is written in scripture, one needs to have the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, resigning within them. If you have not accepted God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit ... the Bible is a mere book composed of smaller books and the reader will not understand how to study it nor understand what is written.

The current world as we know it.. no it would not last, that's why it will all pass away.

From all that has come to pass thus far, points to the imminent return of Christ within the next 10 years, maybe less, maybe longer.

After Israel became a nation, the time period of the End Times began. Upon gaining Jerusalem back as their Capital, in 1967, all prophecy has been fulfilled for the coming of Christ. He could come tonight to gather His bride, He will not literal touch earth.

After this happens, there will be a seven year period called Tribulation/Great Tribulation that will take place. This is the period that Satan will have his reign and the Antichrist will come upon the scene. The prophecy for the Tribulation/Great Tribulation will unfold.

Christ will literally come back to earth upon the completion of this period, and defeat Satan. Then the 1000 years will begin!

After this period will come the Great White Throne Judgment.

Do you mean come back within 1,000 years? Possibly. 1,000 years is as a day to the Lord. Maybe that's what the millenial reign will be about; the seventh day Sabbath rest. Just a thought.
No, this earth will not likely last another 1,000 years. God said it would wax old like a garment and would burn up with a fervent heat. He also said there would be a NEW heaven and a New Earth so there's no big deal to God who created this Heaven and Earth anyhow to create a new one. John saw the new Jerusalem coming down from God out of heaven.
So, part of what you are saying absolutely agrees with Bible prophesy that the earth will become so hot men will blaspheme God and still not repent in the last days. The technology is in place. The national I.D. law was pushed through sneakily and will be enforced here in America in 2,008 which is just a few short months from now already. Yes, you should be concerned about when Christ is returning for His bride. I agree that the world stage is being set.
I am shocked to see that you think no Christians will be here to refuse the mark of the beast and be put to death for the cause of Christ. That's in Revelations and in other places. Also, why are you saying the four letter slang word in your second question? That is offensive and a reproach to the cause of Christ. Why would you be angry at the fact that although we see the signs of Christ's appearing and know that it is nigh, even at the door, no man knows the day or the hour, not even the Father? False prophets have been revealed many times for predicting Jesus second coming. Also, it doesn't matter how many years the world lasts because none of us as individuals knows when we will breath our last breath and face judgment. I would not dare to venture when the Lord will return. "Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. ..."
God said the slothful servant who said "My Lord delayeth his coming" met with an awful end and wasn't prepared when his soul was required of him. The best thing for Christians and sinners is to be stirred and to repent and be ready and stay ready for Jesus could come any second for you or me.

Many Christians have made fools of themselves, saying Jesus would surely be back before x amount of time. So I would be very careful. All I can say is that it would be very surprising if things lasted another 1000 years! Between global warming, population increase, threat of nuclear and biological warfare - also, while I cannot claim to know God's mind, I would wonder what the point would be of waiting another 1000 years. But I really do not know. (As you say it could be within the next 50 years too).

The people have gotten this world in a mess.
Only by divine intervention will it be fixed.
Jesus will be king of the kingdom for 1000 years.
He will bring the earth back to perfection and the people living on it.
But first there will be a judgement period where people will be separated. Sheep from goats...meek from vicious
The meek shall inherit the earth
And they will find their abundance of peace in paradise on earth
After the 1000 years he hands the perfected earth with humans back to Our Father Jehovah God. to live for all eternity.

Jesus wasn't a big deal then. Jesus became more popular as the republican party came into a more powerful level in the 60's. The parties reversed then. So the republican party with the drug companies & the independently wealthy & the churchs were all working on the masses. Now with Fox hole news & other right wing media & the money they can afford to pay them the brainwashing is stronger than every. Jesus is used now as a cult attraction. The media gets the masses sick. They run to their doctor & get meds & the meds keep them paranoid & looped up. One big scam on the republicans so they will do everything they can to keep the independently wealthy using the American public.

I believe that as long as there are human beings that are in a civilization (meaning we dont all get wiped off the face of the plant and be re created or evolve back) that the word of God will endure. It has for a thousand years, and will as long as there is a thing as religon. If a bomb hits tommorrow and we are all dead though, does it matter? We'll all be in heaven or hell anyway. Its sort of like if a tree falls in the forest theory. If we all are dead, is the word of god still there? In a sense yes, and in a sense no.

Sorry to say -- and very hard to believe -- the world in Jesus' time was much, MUCH worse than it is now.....check the history books. We have it easy now compared to then..So where you getting all these "signs of the times"?

And if Jesus is going to reign on earth for 1000 years, that's blasphemy! Who in the world do you think is reigning NOW???????? Hasn't his reign already begun? Didn't Jesus say, by the way, that his "kingdom is not of this world"? Did he lie? And didn't the angel Gabriel tell Mary at the annunication that "his reign will have no end"? How do you end up with 1000 years, then? Did the angel lie?

No one can say for sure when the end of the world is, but I highly doubt it will be here another thousand years - unlikely, but again, no one knows - that's the truth of it.

1 Peter 4:7 - But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.

1 Corinthians 9:24, 25 - Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. 25 - And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.

Isaiah 2:2-4 - And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; 3 - And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. 4 - And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

Isaiah 13:6-13 Howl ye; for the day of the Lord is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty. 7 - Therefore shall all hands be faint and every man's heart shall melt: 8 - And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames. 9 - Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. 10 - For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. 11 - And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. 12 - I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir. 13 - Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the Lord of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.
