Yes I know about how Paul said absent from the body is present with the Lord, but when you die and go to Heaven, or you are a christian that is you might be consious where you are, but you will not have a body now that is scary and freaky. Do are you scared? I probablly will be. I had 2 abortions a few years ago as I were not a Christian back then even though I believe abortions are wrong I also believe since they are in Heaven now I believe I did them a favor. In Heaven they get love, on this earth they would get hate from people. And they would have gone through troubles, because all this world offers is trouble, and I would not have wanted my kids to go through the **** this world offers. At least they are seeing Jesus face to face and living in glory where it is so beautuful that the best parts of earth cannot compare to Heaven. I will meat my children one day, soon I hope as my nana is there too living in her mansion. But to be honest when it comes to death I will **** myself,

O yea I am glad my children are in Heaven because if I had them there was not garantee's that they would have become Christians and probably ended up in Hell. At least they are in Heaven now. Anyway Christians are you scared of death, knowing in Heaven you will not have a body.

I am only afraid to die when I am sick. When I am well, I am really brave about not fearing death.
I have almost always known (for sure) that after my stay here on Earth, I would be going to Heaven.
But I guess the song pinned me right. "I want to go to Heaven, but I don't want to die".

This isn't a very good attitude.
More to your question, John 10:28 says, "I give them eternal life and no one can snatch them out of my hand."
so, no. I'm not afraid of death. I still don't enjoy pain and sometimes fear the process of dying, but I know where I'll be when I finally buy the farm.

Honestly yes I am, more so the "how" than the "what happens next" even though I do have some fear in what happens next.
I have been dealing with chronic illness for years. I had systemic Lupus that has since become Leukemia. I do fight to live and there have been a few times that I was quite close to death, in fact,. 3 years ago I was told I had about 12-18 months left. Im still here though, Lord knows why? I know there were many times I really WANTED to die, because sometimes living sounds even more scary.

I am not scared of that. There are alot of questions in my mind as to what it will be like, and if maybe without looking like we do now here on earthin these bodies, how will we all know each other..or will we? I think about stuff like this alot! I personally think that even though we will not have an earthly "body", in heaven having our soul will be the same difference. It will in a sense be our body. One thing I wonder is why am I always worrying and so scared of death and dying even though I have personally been saved and baptized? I guess we all have our fears.

I'm not afraid of death; I'm a little worried about the pain that might go along with death. But, in the end it won't matter because I will be in heaven. I'm not scared about not having an earthly body- I've always found minor imperfections with mine and it will be a great joy to be perfect.

Interesting question. No I am not scared to die but none the less I don't feel in any hurry to die. It will be much like taking a step out of the light into the darkness. I trust the lord will have a great light to show the way after that step but none the less it will be a step in faith.

No, I am not scared of death. When you say you probably did those babies a favor, were you thinking that when you had the abortion. It sounds like you are feeling guilty and trying to justify your choice. Don't you know that God was creating them for a purpose, just as we all are created for. You'll never know now what could have become of them.

Not in the least bit scared, and I am ready to leave this place as soon as I can. And we will have visible bodies, they just won't be the kind we have now. Check out what Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15th chapter about our resurrection bodies.

I do not fear death anymore. At one time, I did. I have studied the BIBle and prayed every single day for quite some time. My wife and I are both Christians and have been for about twenty years. She is the most wonderful thing that HE could have sent me. We have been married for about 31 years and have three children. I do not fear being in another form. GOD will take care of us. Our Savior, Jesus Christ will judge each and every one of us in GOD's TIME. I feel that HE has certainly belessed my wife and I in so many ways. Have a great week.

I am more afraid of the process of death. What comes after death does not scare me. I am saved by grace through the Lord Jesus Christ and the Lord said, "Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
If you believe that Jesus was the Son of God and that he died to free you from sin so that when you died you could spend forever with him in heaven, then there is nothing left to fear.
Jesus conquered death upon the cross so we wouldn't have to be afraid of it anymore.
I always welcome email on subjects like this, please don't hesitate. God be with you, Rebecca
