I had a dookie-eating grin for weeks when that hate-monger was finally exposed for the hypocrite he is. Any other stories that come close?

No, the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ was the greatest result of religious zealotry.

The Pharisees and the High Priest(s) of the temple were zealous to protect their spiritual control over their own people.

It's actually a very old story, told over and over again in many lives. I think its very sad that he has learned to hate himself so much that he has taken it out on others in the name of God.

No, I think there have several like his and while his was horrendous, I think there have been worse.
