Thanksgiving isn't mentioned in the Bible. Neither is Guy Fawkes Day or Bastille Day or Cinco de Mayo!
Quick everybody! Stop celebrating. God will get mad!

There are many reasons why people celebrate christmas, It could be:
- Most people specially catholic members are not aware since they were told by priests that catechism is gospel of christ.
- This is a worldwide event, a person may get aloof if they will not go along with christmas believer friends.
- They love material things than God.
- They were deceived by Satan
I myself, and the church I belong do not believe nor practice christmas.

We celebrate the birth of Christ at Christmas. Just as we celebrate Mass, we are remembering that Jesus gave his life for all. Christmas helps us to remember the virgin birth.

Christmas came before the bible. Christian leaders just changed the date because they realized that people just weren't going to stop celebrating it.
And the date isn't even accurate. Someone just pulled it out of their behind.

ok the bible is completely about the birth of christ so i dont know where your going with this. its pretty commonplace to celebrate birthdays and it seems like the lord and savior would be a proper one to start with

I think its a combination of wanting too and tradition. Of course there's probably a good dose of greed somewhere in there.
