the father is the Creator. then he has to be the only non created thing, everything must created by Him, and consequently jesus and holy ghost must be created by Him. If jesus and holy ghost were not created things and always existed, then by definition they are gods too. So, the father, that christians refer to, is God, and jesus is created, so for what reason is jesus God's son, when his creation is no different than Adam? I know some will say 3 in 1, but in mono theism, there must be only one, from which everything else gets its existense.

How to you understand Matthew 9:14-17?

Matthew 9:14-17 (New King James Version)
14 Then the disciples of John came to Him, saying, “Why do we and the Pharisees fast often, but Your disciples do not fast?”
15 And Jesus said to them, “Can the friends of the bridegroom mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast.
16 No one puts a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; for the patch pulls away from the garment, and the tear is made worse.
17 Nor do they put new wine into old wineskins, or else the wineskins break, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But they put new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”

I saw a recent episode of "The Naked Archeologist" on History International, where Simcha the host was given a tour of the underground tunnels beneath the Temple Mount. One feature was a huge several hundred ton stone wall, which the gentleman who was guiding Simcha expressed he thought was an ancient storage room, possibly containing who knows what (far-fetched, but perhaps the Ark of the Convenant?). Do you agree with the theory that it is a storage facility, and if so, what might it contain?

Even a short course in biology, physics, and astronomy will show the existance of a personal god as described in the bible or the koran is highly improbable (to the point it is a practical certainty that god is imaginary). Do you think a better education system would help improve people's knowledge of science and critical thinking, and hasten the demise of organized religion (as well as belief in non-existent beings)?

What is a situation when people need to be forgiven, or need to forgive someone else? Can forgiveness be an easy thing to do? Is forgiveness always granted? Is forgiving the same as forgetting? Also, why is forgiveness so important?

American Standard Version (ASV)
21 And Elijah came near unto all the people, and said, How long go ye limping between the two sides? if Jehovah be God, follow him; but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.

leaping (ylt) halt and limp (amp) waver (niv)
the (MSG) CHANGED THE WHOLE SCRIPTURE
this is what my bible says.
21 Then E·li′jah approached all the people and said: “How long will YOU be limping upon two different opinions? If Jehovah is the [true] God, go following him; but if Ba′al is, go following him.” And the people did not say a word in answer to him.

He did not like the mixing of races, and he saved Noah because he was "pure" meaning Noah was only with his race. Was this true, or once again, is my family trying to twist words of the Bible to make it look like I'm going to Hell for dating out of my race?

I hear a lot of people saying that Jesus is God. how can this be? I understand he is a part of God, but if he were God, then wouldn't He have said so instead of saying God was his father?

I always find this coming up as an argument against evolution or the big bang, but I don't really see the relevance, could someone enlighten me.

Under quantum theory, particles and their anti particles are created and destroy eachother spontaneously all the time (giving rise to observable effects such as Hawking radiation from black holes). In addition, as gravitational energy is negative, it is quite probable that the sum total of all the energy and matter in the universe is 0, therefore no laws are violated. What is the problem with something coming from nothing?

I left my car in a parking lot and returned later to find someone had placed religious brochures under the windshield wipers of all the cars...I say it's a dirty trick because you really have no choice except to lift the wiper blade and pick up the brochure. Shouldn't a god have the power to stop people from playing dirty tricks?

One inside is all alone, overboard in the Gene Scott cult, driven but clinging to shreds of faith in family, friends, and life as Jesus teaches to live, though defensive of all Scott. How can a friend gently help clarify which is the quiet voice of God without triggering retreat by terror to stray from Scott dogma?

Is it just me or do you too get really embarrassed that people in the 21st century in 1st world countries believe in god. Like not agnostically speaking, but open the Bible and without any sort of thought are taking that word for word. Totalling diregaurding historical facts, scientific facts, and basic human nature for writing downs ones own thoughts. Like I find it completly frightning. Does anybody else?

Did he die knowing it was just a temporary death, and he would ascend into Heaven and be acclaimed a hero by millions of angels and become a legend on Earth as well?

Or did he not know what was going to happen? Did he think he was really dying? What did Jesus know or not know and when did he know or not know it?

Please answer, cause this question is connected to the question, Just how great a sacrifice was Jesus' death when you come right down to it?

Some people suggest he is God, in which case it would seem he knew everything that was going to happen, would it not?

So what about a pink unicorn or the flying spaggetti monster?
Well pink exist, horns exist, and a horse exist
flying exist, spaggetti exist, and the forms that make up the monster exist. So everything that makes up these creatures exist.
Another point is can you create a new color that does not previously arleady exist.?You can name a new color, but your mind cannot see it.
So if this is the case then God must exist. Because he is unique, nothing exist like him.

Why then should there be civil rights protections on the basis of religion?

Religion is pure choice. There are no dictates or mandates that anyone belong to any particular faith. People change churches and religious affiliation all the time. Certainly, a choice where people are allowed to be so fickle and arbitrary ought be no more deserving of protection under the law than something which is much more fixed in a personality as sexual orientation.

Religious choices should not deserve more preferential treatment under the law than sexual orientation or gender identity. If you can show why they should, could you do so please?

This is my belief. He is infinite. Therefore he exists outside of time there is no need for him to have a beginning or an end because he is eternal. What are your thoughts on this?
