One inside is all alone, overboard in the Gene Scott cult, driven but clinging to shreds of faith in family, friends, and life as Jesus teaches to live, though defensive of all Scott. How can a friend gently help clarify which is the quiet voice of God without triggering retreat by terror to stray from Scott dogma?

Deprogramming cultism means rescue by carrying them out. If not, read the bible with them. . . parts where Jesus is teaching life responsibilities other than serving a church. Point out when "faith" becomes reckless.
God bless.
