No, that is not true. God sent the flood because the world was full of sin. There is nothing wrong with dating a person from another race. But I say he is part of the same race, the human race.

If you believe God created the races in the first place, then why did he not want them mixing? and where in the bible does it say that? Since we now have different races, doesn't that mean they all derived from Noah's family anyway? Then what was the point of the flood? If Noah was "pure", then how did all the other races descend from him?
Isn't it confusing how many questions are unanswerable if you believe the bible?
Instead how about this.
1. God doesn't exist
2. Noah and the flood is a fable, borrowed from the Assyrians and the Egyptians, who both had very similar flood myths.
3. Your parents like all good christians cherry pick the verses out of the bible that appear to support the position they have taken. Your parents may love you, but they are racists.

God flooded the earth to rid it of sin..many times He has tried to rid the world of sin to try to get it back to its original state before adam and eve ate the forbidden fruit. Remember Noah preaching to people to tell them there was a flood coming and to get in the Ark..remember all the scoffers etc and after God had all these warnings and pleadings put out there for people to obey and come to the Ark then came all the rain and still people would not get in the Ark..then the door to the Ark had to close..and when people then saw that Noah was telling the truth, it was too late, and they were screaming to get in..but it was too late..that is why there was the flood ..not because of what you have been told.
Perhaps you could look it up in a concordance and read it yourself then you will know for yourself. Your parents may be well meaning..but truth is truth and false teaching is wrong.

Yes, they are twisting things. God does not see race. He does not distinguish people that way. We were ALL created in his image (Gen 1:27). Also, I have access to several translations (www.biblegateway.com) and I have only found the description of Noah as "Noah was a righteous man" and "Noah was a just man" (Gen 6:9), not "pure man". If you are confused or something your family says doesn't seem right, read the Bible for yourself. Read everything in context (not just one verse) and pray for God to reveal his truth to you.

God sent the flood because the people then extremly aand disgustingly sinful. Noah and his family was saved because Noah loved God and listened to him. I havent read in the Bible that you cant marry out of race just religon. "Do not be yoked to unbelivers". The ISraelites couldnt marry other races because those races worshipped idols

1 When men began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, 2 the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose. 3 Then the LORD said, "My Spirit will not contend with [a] man forever, for he is mortal [b] ; his days will be a hundred and twenty years."
4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of men and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.
5 The LORD saw how great man's wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time. 6 The LORD was grieved that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain. 7 So the LORD said, "I will wipe mankind, whom I have created, from the face of the earth—men and animals, and creatures that move along the ground, and birds of the air—for I am grieved that I have made them." 8 But Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD.
The "sons of god" in this passage are considered to be angels who had sex with human women producing a race of giants known as the Nephilim. The general belief is that men's wickedness was what caused God to flood the earth.
Moses married a woman outside of his "race", and God was not upset with him for this.

no, thats not the reason. I can understand why your family got that idea though.. probably because he paired the animals up with each kind (giraffe with giraffe, dove with dove).
If you think in religious terms, we're all God's children, so why would he want us to discriminate? The reason he flooded the earth was to get rid of the bad people, not the black, Italians, or German people.
Also, other proof is Jesus was Jewish and Jewish is not a nationality.. it's a religion. That means Jews can be Syrian, Turkish, Indian, whatever.

The one and only reason God flooded the earth was because of sin!
He saw all the people and how they were living doing things against God. They were worshipping idols and all kinds of outragous sins abounded.
Noah and his family were the only righteous people on the earth and therefore God saved them and noone else!

God created the flood becuase of the many and various 'sins' of the people. There is nothing about mixing races, that I recall! Check your nearest Bible to make sure. In any case, God created all the races in his image, so there is not difference between them. Try that argument on your family! God created humans in his image and likeness...ALL humans, not just one race. Therefore all are equal in God's sight and should be equal in ours.

Your parents are sick. Run away from them as fast as you can.
And there was no such thing as a great flood, arc, or Noah.
