great question- Blessed are the meek- it amazes me how many people think that meek people are weak. People who I consider meek are those that have a gentle strength. This and other attitudes listed in the beautitudes are very important, because people who follow these are actually the most Christ like. When a person looks at these people they see something different in them, and they want to know the Jesus that they know. My prayer is that all of us who call ourselves Christians will live by these- Christ said it is not hard, to live by these, when controlled by the Holy Spirit.

I really do not have much to say here. I just wanted to say thank you for asking such a good question. Attitudes are so important these days. Most of the answers I have gotten response to my questions have been so down and ugly. But this question deserves nothing but good answers. I hope you score high on this one.
Keep on going and Glorifying God. !!

You know it's funny because we ask God for blessing, but when you look at the beatitudes, it show us what it means to be blessed. It's not anything of what we would consider blessing, but God considers you blessed when you experience these things.

In all things that we do that God has called us to do... the attitude should always be that of gratitude for all things even the tough stuff that comes our way

I dunno....pick one and see:
"Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are they who mourn,
for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek,
for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they shall be satisfied.
Blessed are the merciful,
for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure of heart,
for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they shall be called children of God.
Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."
Gospel of Matthew 5:3-10
