I'm an Indian teenager who is growing up in the United States, so I was just wondering if anyone could provide any personal imput about Hindu philosophy or any good links that explains some of the philosophy. More than anything, I'm interested in learning about some of the values and observations about the world that Hinduism presents, and also, its application to everday American society, if possible.

Thanks again for taking the time!

Question do you see here? It seems that many different people are seeing what they want to and really not looking at the facts placed before them. Why does it always seem that those who answer with attacks are those who don't see the whole picture and the tone and content of their answers reflects the same narrow view. Answer right and recieve 10 pts.

I would like to know ESPECIALLY on the subjects in books regarding astrology, maybe paganism, anything mystical (tarot perhaps) that they may believe were destroyed in these (this fire) in Rome? Was the Alexandria library in Rome?

Just to be clear, a transexual is a person - usually a man - who has surgically changed gender. I guess what I'm asking is - if someone was born a man but now lives his life as a woman, is it a sin to get married to another man?

What kind of concept is that? Many Atheists didn't even know a crap about evolution! Why do you impose that kind of concept on people? People lived atheistically without knowing evolution. Atheism is not a religion, Darwin is not our god. Moreover, he was agnostic

What does it mean to be atheist?

Atheism: the disbelief in the existence of any deities and their influence. That's it.

JOHN 4:22 YOU worship what YOU do not know; we worship what we know, because salvation originates with the Jews. 23 Nevertheless, the hour is coming, and it is now, when the true worshipers will worship the Father with spirit and truth, for, indeed, the Father is looking for suchlike ones to worship him.

Unless orphans are photographed and paraded in front of television cameras, it is virtually impossible to get assistance for them these days. Granted, donors are weary of misuse of donated funds, but shouldn't that be left for God to settle the scores with such robbers. Even when donors don't care that much about tax deductions (yes, there are some who can afford to part with a ten-dollar bill without the need for a receipt), they still want visual proof of where their money is going. Some would be shocked to discover where their money actually ended up inspite of the publicity. How about asking the Spirit of God to guide them rather than story seeking cameras? Can the world get back to giving from the prompting of their hearts (where the Spirit lives) and seek less glory and publicity from external forces?

Psalm 86:5

Isn't that amazing! Hello, everyone. I am so happy tonight. I have been reminded, yet again, how gracious the Lord is. I really like this verse. I like that it says the Lord is plenteous in mercy to ALL that call on Him. Not just some, but ALL. It says the Lord is ready to forgive. How much the Lord loves us!! Praise Him!

Is it "Due to his limited mind, man is unable to fathom God in any meaningful way except to know that he is the creator and worthy of our unconditional respect and love". Or is it "Don't think for yourself. The thinking has already been done". Or is it something else? Thanks for your thoughts.
