What kind of concept is that? Many Atheists didn't even know a crap about evolution! Why do you impose that kind of concept on people? People lived atheistically without knowing evolution. Atheism is not a religion, Darwin is not our god. Moreover, he was agnostic

What does it mean to be atheist?

Atheism: the disbelief in the existence of any deities and their influence. That's it.

I personally think Atheists don't exist. Most claim Atheism, but are really Agnostic.

Many Atheists have not done exausting reasearch about evolution, so dont know intricite details about the theory. Keep in mind evolution is only a theory. . .a theory based on fact.

Yeah, this is total news to me. I have a Bachelor's of Science in ecology & evolution and I was never told that it was my mission to provide intellectual cover for atheists.

As I have said on here, I am of the opinion that there is a god, but I am open to the possiblity that our universe and its physical laws are self generating (or other methods of creation which do not require a deity). So perhaps I should denounce my degree since it is in conflict with my spiritual position..

I am no scientist. I think there may be a God. I believe that evolution occurred. I think the bible was written by men. There is no hell or sin.

It is like atheists are targeted as well as homosexuals in the Christian war on freedom.

Uh...not a question. Besides, I'm an atheist and I know about evolution. It's not that hard to educate yourself in science. And of course atheism isn't a religion. We all know that.

Atheist don't care about a non existent god . and Evolution is not meant to consider superstition ; it is a part of science not religion.
Atheism is a personal choice whether science helps one to decide or not is entirely irrelevant.
peace out

excellent point. but this is the same concept that christians are prodestant/calvinist.

anyway, atheism denys a God, and therefore must explain where we come from somehow, where humans once exsisted and why. and therefore darwinism is by far the largest athistic religion which causes everyone to realated the two.

OOOHHH NO IM NOT IN A RELIGION IM ATHEISTIC!!

right. i forgot. atheistic orgainization.

Evolution is a scientific theory. Atheism is the belief there is no god(s). Two very different things.

Yes Evolution is not a plot to discredit religion. It just happen to make sense. It is not our fault.

Yes Atheism =/ Evolution
but Evolution >(sense) Creation

Yes, I get a kick out of this too. We spend half our time on Biology here and even if evolution was wrong it still wouldn't be evidence for a god.
