Is it "Due to his limited mind, man is unable to fathom God in any meaningful way except to know that he is the creator and worthy of our unconditional respect and love". Or is it "Don't think for yourself. The thinking has already been done". Or is it something else? Thanks for your thoughts.

After many conversations with faithful people about why they think in the way that they do, I think "faith" is a suspension of rationality in favor of wishful assumption. When people don't know the answers or don't like the answers, they make up their own.

I don`t know how others feel but I pray and I believe that I will receive an answer.That to me is faith.I feel better and feel within my mind and soul that things will be okay.

Faith in Jesus Christ entails obedience to his word. The devil believes is God. Faith involves obedience even when we don't understand the why.
