Gospel According to Saint Matthew
Chapter 6
33 Seek ye therefore first the kingdom of God, and his justice, and all these things shall be added unto you.
34 Be not therefore solicitous for tomorrow; for the morrow will be solicitous for itself. Sufficient for the day is the evil thereof.
The origins of the doctrine of the rapture are hotly debated. The Orthodox, mainline Protestant, and Roman Catholic churches (which represent the majority of Christians worldwide) have no tradition of such a teaching and reject the doctrine, in part because they cannot find any reference to it among any of the early Church fathers and in part because they do not interpret the scriptures the way that Rapture-believers do.

Well, I have alternated between belief and unbelief. I understand many arguments from both sides, and right now I am leaning toward belief.
If I am not truly saved, then I guess I will enjoy the slaughter of the Apocalypse- but there is one problem: what about the initial peace during the tribulation?

I believe in the One True God through reading the Holy Books revealed by Baha'u'llah. That event is already rapture for me and for humanity.
Other interpretations cannot be compared to the teachings of the Messenger of the One True God.

No, I do not believe in your god. Secondly, you aren't the first person to make end times predictions. Like all those before you, you'll be proven wrong.
P.S. "The Rapture" isn't even biblical, it's a modern day invention.

I'm not so sure these are correctly researched....although the Bible says "no man shall know the time of Christ's return. Not even the angels know the day Jesus will come back. I do however know that God has told us "2007 is a year to prepare for heaven".

1) Yes, 2) I hope so, but.... 3) The Apocalypse, if the Bible is true I won't be here to see it. But I wouldn't mind watching bill collectors thrown into the pit of fire.

I believe in God and I believe noone knows the day nor the time, not even the Son, of the Rapture. Only the Father knows.
