First, a person must accept Jesus Christ, His teachings, and His Church. They must also reject the works of Satan. Usually anyone wanting to be baptized is recommended to attend educational classes to learn the Faith. I was baptized at fifteen since I wasn't Catholic all my life, but didn't get confirmed until I was 30. I went through a 6 month RCIA program in order to prepare for the sacrament of Confirmation. However, I have seen adults who were neither baptized nor confirmed go through RCIA and receive both sacraments upon entering the Church.

It might sound like a lot, but it is time worth spent. Best decision of my life.

Hope this helps. God bless.
