First of all saying that a dictator who's killed thousands is punished exactly like a atheist who hasen't done a thing is stupid.
Second, why can't he just kill sinners. Let the dead stay dead?
It would get rid of those dirty sinners forever.
Third and finally do christians actually enjoy this idea?

What about people who have severe depression or mania and are unable to experience religiosity, let alone accepting a 2000 year old savior? Take an example of a person who wants to believe but the brain is being irrational and is loaded with contradictory emotions that interfere with critical analysis.

Let's say this person suddenly gets killed in a car accident while depressed.

Is this person going to be condemned to an additional eternity of intensified suffering because the brain that god himself created wasn't working properly?

Couple of questions:

Is it really true that in Islam believers are promised 72 virgins when they die if they do certain things?

If yes, then what do they have to do to get 72 virgins?

Finally, if the answer to #1 is yes, then isn't it EXTREMELY manipulative and LOW to play upon people's sexual drives to get converts to a religion?

Artist: Lyrics
Song: Imagine Lyrics

Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today...

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

Do they know much about him cause there's only few words about him in the Quran. What do they think about Jesus? Why do they always praise Muhammad more than their Messiah?

Couldn't they be wrong about our evolution as well? It seems to be the same resistance to the truths revealed by science as during the middle ages. Religion is so resistant to change and evolve, unlike science which is self-correcting and ever changing.

I am a Lutheran, and I think we have the best doctrine in the Christian faith, not that I am trying to put people down or anything, all I am saying is that Lutherans seem to follow the bible (not add and take away as they wish) and we believe that we are saved by the grace of God and NOT be our own works or doings. Well anyways I think Lutherans have a good idea of what God wants, not that all Christians are wrong, its just the Lutherans have a clear doctrine

Have issues that are plaguing me...heard about the fabled records from an alchemy book that teaches to heal people through akasha. My b/f claims to have tapped into the records via cannabis and other psychadeics. Is there a safe psychadelic to use to get to the records? If not, how else would I get there without hurting myself?

Jesus (supposedly) said that with faith the size of a mustard seed, one could tell a mountain to move and it would (paraphrase). Which Christians here have done this? If you cannot, can you really believe you have much faith?

Let's say you spend the next 20 or 30 years posting here every day trying to defeat Christianity and one day you finally win! Christianity is reduced to a minority faith and no longer in the way of your oppressive agenda! You can now fulfill your dreams and fantasies and reduce Middle America to poverty!

Unfortunately, Middle America (now majority atheist) without religion is more willing to fight back than it ever has been! No more "turning the other cheek!" Could all your hard work only make Middle America stronger than it was before???

Could the defeat of Chrisitianity also lead to the defeat of liberalism?

I have seen some pro-life atheists (although they are a minority among atheists) and have noticed that the liberals have a tough time arguing with them concerning abortion. Most of the time the liberals tend to turn tail when they see they are arguing with a fellow atheist. Could this be a sign of what liberals will face with a more atheistic Middle America?

Is it because creationism has its roots in religion, namely the Holy Bible, the most feared book in the world, thats another topic. If you beleive in the Bible and God how can you beleive in evolution. Psalm 19:1 "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handiwork." Romans 1:21-25 "Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore, God also gave them up to uncleanness, through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishounour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever Amen." The Bible on evolution vs creation!!!!

At my school, Catholics are a minority and Protestants are a majority. All my friends are protestant and basically do almost the exact same things at their churches. When i first talked about being catholic, they didnt even kno i was a christian and kept asking if i worshipped mary!! I remember in the eighth grade, after reading romeo and juliet, trying to tell them about purgatory and why catholics believe in it. They all ganged up on me and tried to shove their beliefs down my throat. Im usually good about locking up my emotions, but i started to get teary eyed b/c i couldnt believe how rude they were. Ive accepted what they believe in and have never questioned their faith...but they all act like its SOO weird to call the priest Father and why i dont memorize bible verses.....plleez help if youve been in a similar situation...and no im not going to dump my friends...i really love them all

To commit a sin though knowing better. I know we commit sins without realising but maybe say...... Being rude to a JW when should be showing christ-like love. Looking down on other people or being over angry because something is not to your expectations. Getting drunk or commiting fornication, looking at a person with lust other than your own marital mate.
