their attempts to convert people by force or by giving some alms to the poor or constantly brain washing about their religion and taunting other religions.

Since in most nations you can choose to attend the services of the organized religion of your choice, I'm not sure why so many people answered your question the way they did.
And WHY would an organized religion change what they believe, if you disagree, find another faith. You can even be an atheist and believe in nothing.

The New Testament churrch was organized. What has happened is man has distorted the Word of God and created drifted from the Word. Paul had to go to Jerusulem several times to confere with the apostles. The new testament churchs even gave an offering to help the church in jeruselem. Anyone that reads the Bible can see that the church is supposed to be organized. With organization you have misguidance that leads to caos.

I dislike that organized religion is too often more concerned with the organization than they are about the religion.
Example - gay rights issues, many Christian churches quote whatever they can find anywhere in the bible, often out of context, to justify doing the opposite of what Jesus said to do. This may meet the political desires of the denomination, but it is not Christianity.

Like anything else that starts off with an idealistic perspective, preserving the structure eventually becomes more important than the original ideas. That is why there are denominations. It doesn't mean that the ideas are bad or even the people who still truly believe in the ideas. In fact, that is exactly what Jesus talked about when he railed against the religious establishment of his time.

Intolerance, greed, refusal to think for oneself relying on 'faith' in ambiguous concepts.
When I was a child, I remember not being able to drink Coke;
now that the church owns stock it's just fine.
They say being gay is evil according to leviticus but so is wearing blended fiber clothing, planting crops together, and what about footballl players touching the skin of a pig? Are they really unclean?
It's just ridiculous. They pick and choose what parts of their bible to live.

Disorganized religion. They point the finger at organized religion because they cant submit to any kind authority. It's called "nondenominationalism", because each person gets to play pastor when its their turn to lead the bible study at their feel-good bless-me club fellowships.
And they have never built one school or hospital in the third world.
I would like to hear your "facts".

For most of them it is an irrational belief in doctrine that does not make sense any way you slice it, cannot be supported by scripture, but do the congregations face up to it? No. They just ignore the parts they don't like and focus on the scriptures that support their beliefs. Not really all that different than terrorists.

The intolerance for anyone outside their one little sect.
The use of fear, shame, and guilt to trick new people into joining them.
The hypocrisy and lies.
The purposeful ignoring of any fact that goes against their teachings.
The greed of the churches.
The blatant patriarchal and completely sexist set up of most of the organized religions.
I could go on, but I'll stop there.

Paul's letters were delusional and almost exactly opposite of what Jesus said. Why did he write all that mumbo jumbo?
Why else? To build and grow an empire. So, most Religious Empires worship Paul because their main purpose is to do what Paul did best; build and grow their empires; at the expense of truth.
Enough said?

The scourge of religion is guilt trips and the fear. The churches say -- believe what we tell you and do what we say or you'll go to hell.
This sort of mind control and manipulation has done a huge amount of damage and very little good.
