yep. In the Bible, many people used numerology to communicate (why they're so many number in the book of Revelation, it was written to display messages through numbers). God also did things to make it understandable to man. The number 12 is 3X4. Three is the number of perfection, and known for the trininty. Man is the number four, and those together, bring man and God together. The tribes brought together Judiasm, and the apostles were used to spread the gospel of Christianity. The number 40, is also very popular and is known for completion or growth to another level, thus 40 days of rain, 40 days in the desert, 40 years in the desert, 40 days to scout out Isreal, 40 days for Moses on Mount Sianai and 40 days for Elijah to lay on his side...

Are there twelve tribes and apostles? examine the checklist of the 12 tribes in Revelation 7 and take observe that the tribe of Dan isn't listed. would not that make 13 tribes? Judas become between the twelve. He become replace by applying matthias. would not that male 13 Apostles?

There are 12 tribes of Isreal and 12 apostles. Weird that they are the same.. maybe there is a reason??
