Or is there an open-minded outlook in many that some "facts" &/or history is yet to be discovered in hidden/buried scrolls somewhere?

Today, at exactly 3:11 pm Eastern time, the House of Representatives passed legislation that expands federal funding for embryonic stem cell research. This is an integral first step towards providing hope and cures to the millions of Americans suffering from diseases like diabetes, Parkinson's, and Alzheimer's.

Now the bill goes to the Senate, where it is expected to pass by an even wider - veto proof - margin.

I am having hard time to believe in something at this present time. I go out on streets see suffering, hate, people talking about war, people saying god bless you but in reality they are doing evil...

Can someone give me some words/opinion? thank you

I do. Trying to keep you salvation is hard. Getting saved is one thing and keeping it is another.Im starting to think that only the Christians that go to church, pray everyday, fast, tithe, read the bible and confess sins everyday are the only ones that are going to to raptured or end up in Heaven. I do not read the bible, I do not pray as much anymore, I do not go to church because I am not a church going person and I do not fast, even though I should.but I do believe in Jesus, his death and resserection andI do love him so much but am worried that will not be enough to get me into Heaven or raptured before the great tribulation. Any truthful advice from you Christians would be be helpful..

Do you believe it was pleasing to Allah, that Muhammad, (PBUH)
married 'Aisha at the age of six/nine?

Please note, I'm not talking about marriage ethics right now. I know in older times *girls/young women* married very young & etc.

What I'm asking is :

"Do you believe in the eyes of Allah, that the marriage of Muhammad the Holy Prophet of Allah, ( PBUH) at fifty-four to 'A'isha age six, was holy & pleasing to your Allah".

Or do you just ignore it & believe it's not true ?

P.S. Thanks in advance for answering.

Christians, Athiest,or Jews. I hope its not athiests. I want to point out the jews and christians to a terrorist if I ever meet one. (A serious question followed by a little joke people.) Don't get uptight. Loosen up and answer. Or don't.

A sweet penguin just asked this same question, and (again) answers truly shock me.

Three randomly picked answers:

"do you have a roof over your head? are you being fed daily? are you blessed with family and friends that care about you?"

"R u dead? at war? during famine? If u think he does not show it, look around u and count ur blessings. And u, if u love him, do u show him?"

"There is not enough disc space on my computer to list all the ways God has shown His love for me, my family, my church, our country, etc."

Today, and only today 40,000 children under the age of twelve, died from starvation or Aids on our planet. If the above three answers are truly how some Christians think of this world, then I would really wanna know how God loves ALL of us.

What will be the answer this time? "Devil did it" ? or "God works in mysterious ways"? Or the ever so famous "And what do you do?" ?

Do you think through prayer and scripture that one's belief and love in the Lord can become stronger or do you have to be born with complete and solid love? I very much fear his wrath, but feel I need to know and love him more. Do you think God chooses who he saves or is it given to anyone who will accept him? Why spread the Word if His followers are pre-determined?

I am a virgin and I don't masterbate, so I can't help it if this happens to me. It's not like I don't have offers for sex since I'm a Brad Pitt look-alike, but I am pure and saving myself for the Lord.

There seems to be a large consensus that Islam dirrects its followers to massacre non-Muslims. If this were true, why aren't things being done globally to solve this problem. This question is not an attack on Islam. I would honestly like to know why people are so convinced that Muslims want to erradicate non-Muslims. The Koran condemns this sort of thinking.
