Islamists......Am I non-believer ?

I am not into islam.....but I believe in god, i have some morals.

(This is no way insulting islam.)

No offence but........I am a non-believer according to islam only because I dont call the only god i pray allah ?

but check this last part "receive their recompense from their Lord".

the quran use the word "their Lord" instead of "Allah".

now what I am trying to tell you is that Jews, Christians, and Muslims have their own "Lord". Of course in Muslims' perspective, Allah is Lord of the Universe, including Jews and Christians. But, are Jews and Christians think that Allah is their Lord ?

Both 'yes' or 'no' have it's own consequences.
If the answer is 'no', in other verse in the holy quran Allah stated that beside Allah, everything that people worship will not bring benefit nor able to bring disaster to its worshippers. In other words, they will gain nothing from it.

if the answer is 'yes', that means you have to abandon everything you worship and worship only Allah.

for the question about being non believer, let me give you an illustration.
Supposed that you're a great runner that is able to run at lightning speed, but you don't register at a running contest, even if you can run much better than any other, doesn't mean that you participated in the contest, and nobody will call you a winner even when you got past everbody in that contest.

Believers don't have to be in Islam. Nor do you have to be A Christian, Jew, or Muslim, or Muslim convert. A believer is someone who believes in God, the last day, and does good deeds. You fall under "ANYONE who" if you believe those three things. Some people call themselves Muslims and are non-believers. A title doesn't state if you believe, its all about your actions and inner beliefs.

The purpose of religion is guidance, if you can lead a righteous life you are simply fullfilling that purpose for yourself without religion. That's the entire reason for religion anyway. If you can do it on your own, nothing is held agaisnt you. The Quran teaches me this, that is what it says.

You can ask this question of any religion, and if you are not of that religion you are a non-believer, so i don't get the point of the question.

Whats up with this word: Islamists? I do no consider myself to be this stupid made up word. Please refer to us as Muslims. On to your question. Are you a non-believer? Of course. If you don't believe in Islam then you are a non-believer to us! Just as we are non-believers to Christians, Jews and Hindus! This is not to degrade anyone of course!

A muslim will say you are a kafir - if you are not muslim
A christian will say you are sinner if you are not christian

These are all ramblings of narrow-minded people. If you have faith in one supreme power (god) and respect his creation you are a Spiritual person...even if you dont believe in any religion.

For god we are all his children...irrespective of our faith and relgion...he loves us all, and guides us

Thank God eastern relgions do not have this narrow-minded view of being Qafir or sinner.

Dear Affan...mind Hindus do not condemn non-hindus as Qafirs or as sinners. Hinduism believes, as all rivers are rushing towards ocean...all relgions are taking us towards Truth..
