What's wrong with Islam?

Question

There seems to be a large consensus that Islam dirrects its followers to massacre non-Muslims. If this were true, why aren't things being done globally to solve this problem. This question is not an attack on Islam. I would honestly like to know why people are so convinced that Muslims want to erradicate non-Muslims. The Koran condemns this sort of thinking.

For those who are against Islam and believe that it promotes terrorism, I'd like explanations why Islam has not been adressed globally and steps aren't being taken to correct it.

absolutely, nothing wrong with islam, but there must be something wrong with muslims, since some muslims truly follow quran they cannot straight get in the way of islam. on the other hand there many bad excample of muslims.

Yes, we all know but it is the bad publicity from some media. I say some because I have noticed that in the US, half of the media seems to be anti-Israel and the other half not.
Any who, I blame publicity but if there is ever going to be a reconciliation, there should be something done. It makes Americans like me all confused since I am pro-Israel. Then I get bad media from both sides and it is really hard to know what to believe and what not to.
All I'm saying is it's not all the public's fault, people are the product of the society and it so happens that what we see on the news (Like the bad publicity of Iran's pres)or read is what we will feel closest to.

Most of the terrorist who took part in 9-11 lived very peacefully with the United States citizens.

They peacefully drove to and from their peaceful Jumbo Jet Flying training.

And they peacefully got on those commercial airliners and helped blow that airplane, people and towers into pieces.

We have uneducated, poor illegal immigrants that can figure out how to unite and rally in the hundreds of thousands to force the so called biased media to listen to them on their terms, and I am supposed to believe that Muslims are incapable?

Come on American Muslims, you need to draw a very clear line between you and the terrorist or don't blame anyone when there is confusion.

I'm not trying to promote Christianity or cornered Islam, but i have my argument,Islam never teach his follower to love each other, even those the other hate them. In Christianity, Jesus teach His follower to love each other, even those trying to murder them. Islam only missing one thing: Love. And this became a basic problems, like what have written in your questions.

problem here is with islam itself.
it is based on hate ideology. muhammad hated many of his fellow beings during his days. that is being carried down the ages. it is for the muslims to correct that.

as for killings, islam is of arab tribal origin. killings of all forms was common to arab tribal societies. for islam killings are of no significance. it is something commonly happening during the course of life. also because of thier dietary habits - flesh eating habits is another reason.

what is wrong with islam is that they are behind the world in evey sphere. whatever they are today, it is because of others, and not because of islam. in the middle east, oil industries is set up not because of the arab muslims, but because of the british and americans. other wise the arab muslims would have been still running behind the camels, fighting over petty differences and killing each other. islam should be grateful to other faiths that they are not thinking of eliminating them.

The Qur'an encourages Muslims to live in peace with people of other religions, but unfortunately that is not what the media teaches about Islam and Muslims. The media shows that Muslims are violent, angry and brutal people and yes, there are Muslims who like that but perhaps most people are more likely to accept what is being told to them instead of finding out why the situation has come to this.

Plus the media doesn't show Muslims who are living in peace and harmony with non-Muslims. Nobody wants to see that in the news! They want drama, violence, action, excitement and propaganda.

people often think 'A' because a lot of people beside him said 'A'.

people believed that the earth is flat because a lot of people said that.

and how people's mind got shaped nowadays? it's media.

when US' media is dominated by the Jews, its most likely that they're trying to corner Muslim and label them terrorists, and since people thinks that media is people's majority opinion, they often believe it without questioning about its truth anymore.

then wake up and search the internet for news from other parts of the world. You will find that not everybody is thinking that way.
