Do you believe it was pleasing to Allah, that Muhammad, (PBUH)
married 'Aisha at the age of six/nine?
Please note, I'm not talking about marriage ethics right now. I know in older times *girls/young women* married very young & etc.
What I'm asking is :
"Do you believe in the eyes of Allah, that the marriage of Muhammad the Holy Prophet of Allah, ( PBUH) at fifty-four to 'A'isha age six, was holy & pleasing to your Allah".
Or do you just ignore it & believe it's not true ?
P.S. Thanks in advance for answering.

Well to be honest I could never be sure of her exact age at the time of marriage but since there is a general agreement that she was extremely young, I would accept it as a fact.
As for it being pleasant in the eyes of God, that is for Him to answer because we cannot speak for His views on something that specific because what He thinks of the marriage is not in any scripture.
As for my personal views, I would ascribe it to the *traditions* as you put it and obviously don't find the prospect of marrying a child healthy.
You're welcome.

She was seventeen-eighteen years old, and no older than twenty. Hadiths are not good sources of information about Prophet Muhammad because A) they were written 200 years after his death and B) Many contradict one another on the same topics and sayings.
I have used various sources to research this very thing and I will lay out the facts:
Facts
1.) All of Abu Bakr's, the father of Aisha Bint Abu Bakr, children were born before 610 C.E. Prophet Muhammad didn't marry after the death of his first wife, Khajiah, until 622 C.E. If we do the math, we find that it is impossible for Aisha to have been nine.
The youngest she could have been for the first factual evidence is twelve, and we haven't gotten into all of the evidence yet.
2.) Asma, Aisha's sister, died at the age of 100 in the year 695 C.E. It is known that Asma was ten years older than Aisha.
That would make Aisha the age 90 (although she died at forty)
in 695 C.E. If we take 695 from 90yrs to determine the circa year she was born we get, the year 605, which confimed the #1 first stated factual evidence. if we take 605 from 622 ( around the year she married the prophet) we get the age 17-18.
3.) Aisha bint Abu Bakr had a prior engaggment that was broken off, (her mate Jabrir didn't want to become Muslim so they did not marry) when she approach him to be married ( it was an arranged marriage. This shows that she was at a marrying age
and seeking a life partner.
And today and during her time Aisha is regarded as among the greatest Muslim scholars to ever have lived. After her husband's death, many people came to her for advice on the proper practice of Islam. She was regarded as an extremely eloquent and assertive women whom possed a photo graphic memory.
She was perhaps a genius in her time.

There is long clearification about her age, customs and rest of the things But just to answer your question , Yes this marriage was fair in the eyes of Allah and there was Allah's will behind........and there is very valid reason for that.........Muhammad lived only 64 year..and he bacame prophet at the age of 40, so he has spent only 23 years for preaching islam.not an enough period for a religion to spread , so u know that most of the religion then was told to peoples by ayesha....she lived 70 years later and was fair enough time for preaching islam.there was this logic too behind this marraige.because only a wife can explain how his hisband lived and wht he followed. islam would have died if there was no true person to tell wht it was actualy and that was the reason thet after death of muhammad , peoples used to consult ayesha for information.and she guided them truely and then spread islam far and wide.

The Prophet (pbuh) married her because her father, who is also one of his dearest friends, wanted his relations with the Prophet (pbuh) to be closer and stronger.
Muhammad (pbuh) did not sleep with her until she had reached her puberty.
I don't think the marriage is considered as a 'holy marriage'. It was a marriage like any other, and yes I do believe it was pleasing to Allah because the Prophet (pbuh) and Aisha had a happy marriage and the he treated her well, just as he did with any other wife of his. It wasn't like he used her and then did not take care of her.

Aisha dream she will marry Prophet Muhammad, Muhammad was told by Allah to marry Aisha.
Well it is a pleasing.. in fact it is a wise plan made by God..
Aisha is a wise kid, one of the reason she must marry Prophet Muhammad is because Allah want her to witness the every single life of Prophets Muhammad..
When Prophet Muhammad passed away, Aishah was the one who can help in solving problems by telling what Prophet Muhammad do and will do if He is still alive. Aishah was the most closes wife to Muhammad among all his wife.
God, wants her to educate muslims when Muhammad passed away. She was the most LUCKY WOMEN IN THE WORLD to have Prophet MUhammad as her husband.

Actually Allah ordered him to Marry her, so yes it was. Mohammad PBUH was the most decent man ever and he was not motivated by sexual desires or pedophile as some people think because he waited three years after engagement till she became mature before she joined him in his house. He also lived with Khadija his first wife who was older than him (he was 25 and she was 40 when he married her) and he didn't marry other women till she died and he was older than fifty. In his excellent treatment for both (the elderly wife and the young wife he gave best example to how to respect and how to treat women as a wife regardless of her age.
The wisdom behind marring the young wife who lived with him only ten years is very obvious: she was very smart and she learned Islam directly from him and carried the knowledge for all Muslims for decades after the death of Mohammad PBUH. Actually Aisha was the most prominent scholar and reference in the whole history of Islam. One time she was asked by Muslims: from were you got the knowledge in Medicine? We know the reason of being knowledgeable in Islam as you were the wife of Mohammad, and we know the reason of being knowledgeable in poetry and the tribes of Arab as you were the daughter of Abu Bakr, but how come you know about Medicine? She smiled and replied that she learned it from doctors who came to treat Mohammad PBUH before his death. This just an example of how smart and enlightened she was.

I think it is disgusting. If Mohammad was alive back in the days of Moses. Mohammad would have been stoned to death under the law. He was a child rapest. He married so many wifes he lost count. Mohammad was not a prophet from God, He was deceived by Satan. Everything Mohammad did was an abomination to God. And unless He repented before he died, and believed in Jesus as the Messiah, and the Son of God and exepted Jesus as Lord and Savior, Mohammad will not be in Heaven, as God who is Holy will not let anything that will defile is kingdom in. And considering Mohammad was an abomination, he will not be in Heaven unless he repented. He was a murderer. And murderers will not inherit the kingdom of God, and that is the words of Jesus.

waaaaay back then, it is normal for young girls to get engaged or married cos they got thier period by then (biologically spaeking)
tis common. just be cause the prophet consumated her by nine makes him a paedophile? the scriptures and books have very fine lines between sentences... aisha was saved from slavery and to be a walking diary for the prophet...

He did not marry her at 6. Some sources say it was 9 and some say late teens. We don't know for sure. Anyhow this was very common in those days and this was never an issue until very recently. Even when the Crusades started on false beliefs it was not of one that Prophet Mohammad was a Pedophile.
