That fairy tale is the creation of backward men. Whoever spun this tale is supposed to have had a front row seat, or was divinely informed by God about His taking a rib from a sleeping Adam, then using it to make Eve. God supposedly did this just so that Eve would be from Adam. And on the seventh day, He rested. Yeah, right....God gets tired. This is so ridiculous, and just plain nonsense.

Well as a reader of the Torah I SHOULD...but a rib it's kind of not nice. I come from no man's rib- I happen to think that it is men who come from women. In my opinion, the time that Gennesis was written was a simpler time it was written for people who had no technology. And so on. Alls I know is that if it is true, it would suck to come from a rib.
But I wasn't there so I don;t know how it happened.

So the Lord God caused Adam to fall into a deep sleep. He took one of Adam's ribs and closed up the place from which he had taken it. Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib and brought her to Adam.

It's difficult to comprehend how anyone could believe this little fairy tale. I mean, like LITERALLY. I don't understand zabist's logic. If man has one EXTRA rib compared to woman, how come? Actually, he should have one missing--the one used for Eve. I've gotta get out of here.....

The Koran, first of all, is NOT holy. It is a book written by a mere man that was NOT inspired by the Holy Spirit as the holy men of God were that wrote the bible. Secondly, in the book of Genesis, it plainly tells that God created Eve from Adam's rib.
