There have been literally tens of thousands of gods created my humans over the millenia of human existence.
So how can christians say thiers is the correct one?
The answer is simple; they try to convince the gullible in order to get them into the church and MORE importantly, to fill the single most important item in a church with money; the collection plate.
And that, kids, is the central meaning to religion. Separating the fools from thier money.

In the Old Testament, Satan was not directly working to destroy God but rather he was allowed to inflict destructive forces on humans to make them aware of their wrong doings.

But in the New Testament, Satan is portrayed as having so much authority and an evil being actually working against God.

How and why did this change come about?

Considireing the very rare possiblity that earth just luckily fell into place at the perfect distance from the sun, and with perfect conditions for life. And that after this happened amino acids simply fell into place and made a protein, which later got together with other parts to form a living organism with DNA, how is it possible that:
Macroevolution (The theory that everything came from a common ancestor a.k.a. simply evolution) is real when a 1 celled animal can only pass on the DNA it already has through asexual reproduction? Consider that a 1 celled animal that reproduces asexualy will pass on the same DNA and produce an identical clone of itself, which cannot have adapted to the enviroment, as it is a clone. If this is true according to science then how did all living things come from that 1 cell?
Why challenge the LAW of creation with the THEORY of evolution?
I thought scientific laws could never be challenged unless you were uneducated. (a.k.a. not smart.)

I found this quick little test and I'm curious how accurate you find the results. Please cut and paste or report your results and indicate if it's accurate or not.

Here's mine:

(100%) 1: Methodist/Wesleyan/Nazarene
(100%) 2: Presbyterian/Reformed
(94%) 3: Eastern Orthodox
(86%) 4: Congregational/United Church of Christ
(84%) 5: Lutheran
(80%) 6: Baptist (Reformed/Particular/Calvinistic)
(75%) 7: Anglican/Episcopal/Church of England
(73%) 8: Roman Catholic
(68%) 9: Church of Christ/Campbellite
(63%) 10: Anabaptist (Mennonite/Quaker etc.)
(48%) 11: Seventh-Day Adventist
(43%) 12: Baptist (non-Calvinistic)/Plymouth Brethren/Fundamentalist
(35%) 13: Pentecostal/Charismatic/Assemblies of God

I'm a Presbyterian enthralled with the eastern church so it sounds quite accurate to me.

I have been a christian all of my life, but, when I was younger I definitely felt lost at a time in my life, and I had sex before marriage, and I had my child out of wedlock. Of course, I am now happily married to my son's father, but I still have guilt of having a child out of wedlock. Our son was born when we were engaged. Now that I am back on track with my life, I wonder if I am still considered a christian or if I need to become a born again christian? i'm not entirely sure what 'born again' christian means but I will happily take any advice not criticism.

I'm from Holland. In Holland are almost no 'real Christians' left. According to the statistics there are still many, but simply because the Dutch Christian Church names even me (atheist) a Christian, because my grandparents were believers. I'm a statistic in their archives.

A Dutch comedian, Wim de Bie, inttoduced a couple of years ago the word "ietsisme" into the Dutch language, which can be translated as "somethingism". Lots of people don't believe in a Deity, but they do believe there is 'something'. Nobody has a clue what that 'something' is.

I never met a Pagan in Holland, but I see a lot of them on this forum. Is it safe to say that a Pagan is somehow a 'somethingist"? A person that believes there is something to make this all happen, but can't really put it into words?

I mean no offense, i'm really just curious.

The young were indoctrinated young and are probably a lost cause. The old have believed this nonsense for so many years that they are a lost cause, too.
