There are different thoughts on baptism depending on your religion. Catholics believe infants need to be baptized. A lot of Protestant religions believe you should be baptized when you make the decision for yourself to follow Christ, as a sign of dedication and cleansing. However, there is no demand that every Christian be baptized, it's a personal decision.
You ABSOLUTELY will NOT go to hell if you are not baptized. As the Bible says, there is only 1 way to Heaven, that way is described in what could be the most popular Bible verse ever: John 3:16. There is nothing about baptism in that verse. Keep the faith! :)

We are saved through baptism. It is required to enter heaven. It doesn't matter how old you are, infants can be baptized.
Baptism necessary for salvation:
Mark 16:16
John 3:5
1 Peter 3:20-21
Acts 2:38 , Peter says they need to be baptized for the forgiveness of sins and to receive the holy spirit.
Baptism is mentioned in the Bible as a requirement. It is the initial moment of salvation. You can lose your salvation after, but everyone needs it. It is NOT a symbol. It is a real sign of grace in which original sin is washed away. The Bible is serious about it.
Trk is wrong. Hell is very real. Look in the gospels where Jesus is always warning us about it. Trk contradicts himself. He mentions 1 John 1:7 to show baptism doesn't forgive sins and then mentions Acts 22:16 where the Bible itself proves that baptism forgives sins.

Christian water baptism is an outward symbol that the one being baptized has made a complete, unreserved, and unconditional dedication through Jesus Christ to do the will of God.
Acts 2:41 "Those who embraced his word heartily were baptized."
Baptism is not a forgiving of our sins. 1 John 1: 7 "If we are walking in the light as he himself is the light, ....the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin."
Baptism would give evidence that they now put faith in Jesus as the Messiah. Only by their doing this could their sins be forgiven.
Acts 22:16 "Rise, get baptized and wash your sins away by your calling upon his name."
Baptism is important. Once you study and learn about God and his son Jesus, you will be moved to be baptized. John 17:3 "This means everlasting live, their taking in knowledge of you the only true God, and the one you sent forth Jesus Christ."
And No, you will NOT burn in hell if you don't. There is No burning hell. Just man's common grave.

Baptizing by potential of water is dying to the international, being cleanses of all sins and raising up a clean individual in Christ, Baptism by potential of fireplace is the Holy Spirit of God, which empowers us. i'm to unsure with regards to the "new age" faith not at all particularly gotten into it that plenty, however the Bible says the two Baptism so some distance as fireplace changing water, think of i might have faith the Bible better than the 'new age' ideas..

That is a very good question.. I don't know the answer to that truly.. but I do know that you get baptized to re-dedicate your life to GOD. You are washing your self clean of your old life and it is a symbol of being reborn in his name. Being Dedicated is something your parents do to offer you to the church in prayer. I don't know about you going to hell like I said but I think if you truly believe in GOD than you should consider being baptized... You NEED to talk to your pastor about this issue and have some spiritual counseling. Always pray about big decisions and be open to hear GOD 's answers... GOD bless and good luck on your spiritual journey!

Baptism is a requirement for salvation.
Acts 2:34 Actually David did not ascend to the heavens, but he himself says, ‘Jehovah said to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand, 35 until I place your enemies as a stool for your feet.”’ 36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know for a certainty that God made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom YOU impaled.”
37 Now when they heard this they were stabbed to the heart, and they said to Peter and the rest of the apostles: “Men, brothers, what shall we do?” 38 Peter [said] to them: “Repent, and let each one of YOU be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for forgiveness of YOUR sins, and YOU will receive the free gift of the holy spirit.
In this verse it is the repentance that leads to forgiveness.
In this verse it is the repentance that leads one to get baptized.
If you repent without baptism, or if you get baptized without repenting, Salvation is not possible.
1 Pet 3:21 That which corresponds to this is also now saving YOU, namely, baptism, (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the request made to God for a good conscience,) through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Did you notice that baptism doesn't cleans you of sin, but provides the basis for a clean or good conscience.

Baptism is a person's public declaration of dedication to God. It is a personal choice wherein...deep in yourself you have dedicated yourself to God and you want others to know.
Hell as a fiery place of torment cannot be created by a loving God...hell (translated word for sheol/hades meaning grave/pit/to cover)...if a person dies he goes there as Jesus was 3 days buried, he was in hell, and Jonah in the fish's belly...(he almost died and the belly was to become his grave).

I cannot understand how people can say that Baptism is not necessary when Jesus Himself said "Amen, amen, I say to you, no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and Spirit." (John 3: 5).
Jesus is talking about Baptism (similar to His own) when He mentions "being born of water and Spirit"

As far as going to heaven or hell, even if you were baptized in boiling oil, will not guarantee you that you will go to either place. It is what you do after you are baptized, that is the crunch of the matter.
The command says:
28:19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
28:20 "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, [even] to the end of the age." Amen.
Did you notice the words: "to observe all things that I have commanded you"?
There will be many among baptized Christians, and in fact, even among ministers and preachers who will not enter heaven, not because they were not properly baptized, but because they did not do ALL THAT GOD HAS COMMANDED THEM!
7:21 "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
7:22 "Many will say to Me in that day, `Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?'
7:23 "And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'
Lawlessness means , not obeserving the Law of God or the Ten Commandments.
22:14 Blessed [are] those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.
22:15 But outside [are] dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.
Sorcerers are transgressors of the first commandment, because they worship the devil. sexcually immoral are those who transgress the 7th commandment; murderers are transgressors of the 6th commandment; idolators are transgressors of the 2nd commandment; those who loved and practise lie are transgressors of the 9th commandment.

Depends on which religion you believe in. In most Christian faiths you must be baptized to be saved in Christ (even though Christ was perfect he got baptized as an example and to show obedience). However, there are some where you must merely accept Jesus or be faithful. I would suggest studying and finding your faith, then act accordingly.
