would the earth go off course and smash into the moon which would smash into the sun and then the sun would explode destroying the solar system and sending a huge cloud of gas into everywhich way landing on planets and spreading our DNA all over the universe and starting life all over the place bringing out the destruction of space and time as we know it?

can you tell me what Romans 12:1-2 is trying to say?

1. I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

this is the KJV version.....i cant find my NIV Bible >.>;

If you believe that the creator doesn't need a creator then why the universe? You say one thing doesn't need making, so why not what we know to be real? Physics tells us that matter and energy cannot be created or destroyed. Matter is here, we are made of it, God apparently isn't made of anything which makes him nothing.

I heard that when people are about to die and are in there death beds, when they do die, some weight magically disapears, and its not there poop and piss because the bed has weight scales and the poop is obviously still there on the bed if they do die, so could it be ethric matter perhaps and proof that there is life after death, and also remember matter cannot be created nor destroyed, so do we live eternally?

Think about it...people separated by many miles (who cannot get around like we do these days) would have different concepts of God.....why do you believe solely in your way?

I used to belong to this church that would constantly harp on you to attend the business meetings and in this denomination they do 1 per quarter 4X a year, they would be on you like a nit on a hair follicle to attend.

Yet this same church could not find time or make it a proirity to have felowship, coffee house care groups or cell groups, and when they had to cancel such events they never rescheduled, and the rare times they did have these events were few and far between,

I find this to be very wrong and unsettling? Do you feel there is something wrong with this picture?

Does anyone know of any evidence for abiogenesis, the idea that a first living cell evolved from chemicals with no Creator involved?

I want to compare the abundant evidence that life had to have been created by an intelligent Creator with the evidence that life had no creator, but I can't. After years of searching, I have not found any valid evidence at all for a materialistic beginning for life.

From textbooks to origin of life researchers, those who teach abiogenesis offer only speculation where the evidence should be.

Does anyone have any evidence on this?? If not, I suppose the Bible is correct? Or at least an alternative....right?

Hundreds of thosands of scientists worldwide continuing to add proof to the science of evolution.

When will the sick hoax and evil collaboration end!!!

Satan must be behind this because its so very clever. They use genetics and carbon dating and supposed "hominid renmains" and they get different scientists from different parts of the worlds to agree and also discover remains consistent with the science.

They will not take away my religion. I will suckle it like a newborn calf on its mom's breast.

They will never ever take away my pathetic way of coping with the reality of human existance. You cant change my mind you evil scientists...never ever.

If you argue that a current well established theory is “only a theory”, as if this were somehow a point against it.

Everyone here has a concept of what or who God is. And it's that mental concept we have of God that causes people to act a certain way. I've read alot of postings here, and the concept people have of God range from He's a fairytale, to He's the Creator of the universe, and everything in between.

I've read posting that said there is no God, and when we die, that's it, so we might as well have a good time now.

Others have writen that the Almighty God is the Creator of everything, and that through Jesus Christ, we can have eternal life.

So is God a loving and merciful God that we can go to in time of need? Is He an alusive God, that doesn't hear our prayers? Is He a vengeful God that keeps us in line with fear. Or is He non-existant, so we are free to do what we want?

Do you agree that if we believe in God, or don't believe in God, we have a mental image of God and His attributes? And it's that image of God that forms our personalities, and how we conduct our lives?

Please don't bother answering if you are just going to put "because none of it is true" ... i'm being serious... to believers of God and the son of God, jesus... I am wondering two very simple things. If God created all living things on the same day.. that would include dinosaurs and humans... so why does it show that humans walked the earth long after dinosaurs? and if we lived during the same time... wouldn't we have also been killed by the astroid? Another question is... if adam and eve were the first people and everyone came after them... where did abel's wife come from.. and where did all of these people's wives come from. It only speaks of having sons in the beginning... and if Adam, Eve, Cain, and Abel, were the only humans on earth... where did the wife come from? i'm so confused...
