But then worship the "god" and "goddess" of nature? If these "gods" exist, then they do evil as well.

that the Bible can be proven;but not with scientific means;but by looking at the things it claims about God and creation;understanding that the universe is made after God'd characteristics;and then comparing it to the observations we see in the world

Ex:God claims to be Tri,Trinity or have three parts;so also elements and other things have three parts or three main parts

God claims to have no begging or end:as far as we can see space seems to match this description;having no place it particularly starts &seems to have no end

God doesnt like to go back or dwell on the past;reason why lots wife was turned to a pillar of salt. Also space is frictionless, makng it very difficult to stop and or go back.

We are to come to God and conform to Him,not Him to us;planets go around the sun;not the sun around the planets

and many more...

So why dont you accept the way God Has given to prove His word?

If Jesus were truly man, what about his sexuality? The Bible is silent about this. Surely as a man he would be subject to sexual desire as is everyone on the planet. I ask is it irreligious to believe he was tempted in this area? I mean no disrespect or irreverence as I love and follow Jesus to the best of my ability. I'm curious why such a topic is not addressed in Scripture.

I have heard some about courtship as a Christian alternative to modern dating. In this courtship process, there is no physical affection shown until marriage. Both the young man and young woman pray intensely about the relationship before allowing themselves to fall in love. Parents of both partners are highly involved in the relationship, giving advice and sometimes forbidding their children to go on "dates" by themselves. (You can get a better explanation on http://polynate.net/books/courtship/). In some ways, it seems like a better way to choose a partner, but in others, it seems incredibly strange and even scary to me because it is so different. I am not sure what to think about it and was hoping to get some other opinions.

1) You can tell everyone you care about that you are dying and that you will miss them. The only catch is you only have 1 minute per person and you have to use a telegraph to convey the message (someone will type your message for you over the telegraph and and another person will receive the message and read it to your loved ones on the other end).

2) You can see the people you care about face to face for the last time but you have to be a total dick to them and you cannot tell them you are dying. Also before you see them you have to be sprayed by a skunk.

do you rationalize your subsequent actions and thought from the viewpoint of fairness, e.g. "Hey, that wasn't fair! That's not right!"?

Isn't it odd how we so easily manipulate arguments to support our own desires, even when we appear as hypocrites?

Would it alter your faith? Could Christians still believe and follow him. The Bible is silent on this issue so maybe it's possible he was married?

According to research i have conducted as a non-muslim, it seems that Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world. It came approx 600 years after christianity and yet it rivals Christiandom. However, this is no surprise as the teachings of Islam are very divine and enlightening.
Is it not interesting that the fastest growing religion is one that is being badly publicised by its rival, by our religion - is this freeedom of choice?

John 2:1-12 Jesus's first miracle was to turn water into fine wine.
Mark 7:14 Jesus states that what you put into your body cannot defile you but it is what comes out of your mouth that defiles you.

Considering these things why is it that Christians say that drinking alcohol and consuming marijuana are sins?

Recent studies have shown Marijuana to be helpful in delaying the onset of Alzheimers.
See:http://www.scripps.edu/news/press/080906.html

And many states have legalized it to be prescribed by a doctor for many health issues including depression.

And we all know the Cardiovascular benefits of a glass of wine.

If God created the universe and everything in it then he created those things as well and since in moderation both things have been shown beneficial to the health.

Why would you call that a sin?

Jesus Christ said: “You should pray like this: ‘Our Father in heaven . . . ’” He also said: “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one can come to the Father except through me. . . . If you ask for anything in my name, I will do it.”—Matt. 6:9; John 14:6, 14, JB; italics added.

I mean, not understanding the Bible itself, but how the Bible came to be the Bible? Who wrote it? Who decided what should be in it and what shouldn't be? How many times has it been translated? How faithful are those translations to the original texts?

Can you recommend a good site?

I will explain...

What is right for you,
is left for him
but what is correct for you,
is right in him.
Now there is no point in arguing
For argument has no truth
you are better off listening,
from each speak a truth
that you are not hearing.
