after the crucifixtion , resurrection and ascension of Christ,His followers were meeting in a room, when a sound filled the place, like the sound of a rushing wind.then there were small flames that appeared over each them, and they began to speak in languages they had never known before.
if you truly want the "baptism of fire" or the baptism of the Holy Spirit" just confess that you are a sinner, accept Christ as Saviour, and ask for the baptism of His Spirit.

Good Question! Now think real hard...What is the largest source of fire that man see daily? The sun! Your sun is the biggest ball of fire in your solar system. The sun can baptize the righteous and it will kill the unrighteous thru melanoma or simply skin cancer. The original creation of man on this planet has melanin in there skin to protected them from the sun rays and mankind has no melanin in there skin which render them curse read Leviticus they are the albino's or simply the Caucasian specie.

The New testament only records that happening once, when the believers were filled with the HolySpirit for the first time.
They saw what looked like "Tongues of fire" above their heads. No good evidence that it has ever happened again.
And doesn't need to - the Spirit is in the world, living in His people.

This is an expression for the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. The first instance of this is in Acts, Chapter 2. But to answer your question, simply pray and ask God to give you the baptism of the Holy Spirit (providing you've already made Christ Lord of your life). It's that simple.

You don't. People who claim to have the baptism of fire do not know what that is and show their ignorance of scripture.

The baptism of fire is the baptism of hell at the end of the age. A close look at the scripture that mentions that baptism will show it is God who does it and nowhere and no how can anyone make it to be for the Christian.
