According to research i have conducted as a non-muslim, it seems that Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world. It came approx 600 years after christianity and yet it rivals Christiandom. However, this is no surprise as the teachings of Islam are very divine and enlightening.
Is it not interesting that the fastest growing religion is one that is being badly publicised by its rival, by our religion - is this freeedom of choice?

I see many of you say that it is thrust upon you as a child. Christianity was thrust upon me when i was a child - so what is your argument. Children copy the way of life of their parents.
Were my parents evil for following christianity devoutedly that i copied. It must be the same in Islam. I believe it is the media biasness that many of you are following which is why you cannot answer my question - stop and think

Do you know why we are called the sheeps by religions? Observe the real sheeps in a pen with all the green grass available for them to eat. And see how most of them would still try to go over the fence thinking maybe there is a much better tasting grass on the other side. That is the reason why oftentimes people are swayed to join another group. Specially if the new or just the other group will have something much humanly easier to believe or to cater to their likings which many thought of being more divine or enlightening. Just take cautions, all that sounds divine or enlightening are like sweet sugar; some sweet thing may lead to death.
Freedom of choice? Yes. Specially if the new religion is agressive enought to point all the wrong things the Old ones has. People are always vulnerable to new things like a bandwagon mentality. What is wrong with the already established religion is they know how dangerous it is for them get out of the traditions.

How can it be a choice if it is thrust upon you as a child. Real freedom of choice is being able to choose if that is what you want or not. And then not living with the fear of death if you don't choose what is expected. I don't knock any religion because I think everyone should be able to choose.

i wont argue with the rate of growth of the muslim religion, but its just like people complaining abt how theres so many black people in jail...you do the crime, you do the time....well, in this case muslims are not helping their world image by launching terrorist threats against other countries and amongst themselves. There's a reason "And may god bring peace to the middle-east" oozes with a distinct flavor of sarcasm...not all muslims are radicals, but they do have the most violent history of any religion.

bad publicity by the christians...maybe, the christians running the newspapers reporting that muhamad jihad kill X number of people when he blew himself up in a hospital that supported the US, yes

The majority of Muslims were indoctrinated as children. Is that freedom of choice?

Of course the same is true of most religions.
