I'm not saying that you can't express what you believe but why do so many people have to be rude or offensive? Is that necessary? I mean, just take a look at some of the questions people ask about God and Christianity and some of the answers people give. And even if some Christians you've met have been judgemental or not-so-Christian-like as they should be, is that a reason to offend all the others or worse, to offend a God that could very well exist?

A majority of Christians feel that the stories in the "new testament" are actual recounting of historical events. Why are these people lead to believe that the accounts are actually factual when they're only for the readers EDIFICATION? These stories are no more than fables. Why in the 2006 do most Christians feel that Yehoshua bin Yosef (Jesus) was actually born of a virgin in Bethlehem on Christimas and the "SON OF GOD" ?

Christians will quote the Bible.

If the Bible is factually incorrect or impossible they say "don't take the Bible literally.

They want it both ways.

'Praying very loud'
In a statement to police, a US Airways gate agent wrote that three of the men prayed in Arabic at the gate. "I was suspicious by the way they were praying very loud," the gate agent said.
Said Shahin: "We were never bothering anyone, not saying anything loudly. We were just prostrating ourselves, the normal way we pray."
Devout Muslims pray five times a day, but practices vary among cultural groups, said Owais Bayunus, a Muslim scholar in the Twin Cities.
"Those who pray in the airport would be more conservative Muslims who stop to pray at the designated times no matter where they are," he said. "Others accept the opinion that it is acceptable to combine the prayers during travel."
Before passengers boarded, one became alarmed by an overheard discussion. "They seemed angry," he wrote in a police statement.

"When we pray, we don't want a problem. We don't want what happened last week," said Abdulrehman Hersii

Dear Lord, I thank You for this day I thank You for my being able to see and
to hear this morning. I'm blessed because You are a forgiving God and an
understanding God. You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me.
Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not
pleasing to you.

I ask now for Your forgiveness. Please keep me safe from all danger and harm.
Help me to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude Let me
make the best of each and every day to clear my mind s o that I can hear from
You. Please broaden my mind that I can accept all things. Let me not whine and
whimper over things I have no control over.
And It's the best response when I'm pushed beyond my limits.

I know that when I can't pray, You listen to my heart. Continue to use me to
do Your will. Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others. Keep me
strong that I may help the weak... Keep me uplifted that I may have words of
encouragement for others. I pray for those that are lost and can't find their
way. I pray for those that are misjudged and misunderstood. I pray for those
who don't know You intimately. I pray for those that will delete this without
sharing it with others I pray for those that don't believe

But I thank you that I believe. I believe that God changes people and God
changes things. I pray for all my sisters and brothers. For each and every
family member in their households. I pray for peace, love and joy in their
homes that they are out of debt and all their needs are met. I pray that every
eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance, or situation
greater than God. Every battle is in Your hands for You to fight.
I pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that sees
it.

One of the 10 Commandments says to "remember the sabbath and keep it holy." Does Christ's new covenant do away with the 10 commandments, and the punishments for not following them.

Because I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath and Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death.

I had a revelation last night that I am god. So please feel to now pray to the Abominable Grim Jack.

I am of course omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent. I will answer all prayers sometimes “Yes”, sometimes “No” and sometimes “Wait.” And while I’m quite mercurial I can promise you that I’ll be a lot more moral than the god of the Bible.

That is all.

Quran 31:10 “He created the heavens without any pillars that ye can see; He set on the earth mountains standing firm, LEST IT SHOULD SHAKE WITH YOU; and He scattered through it beasts of all kinds. We send down rain from the sky, and produce on the earth every kind of noble creature, in pairs.” http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/quran/031.qmt.html#031.010

Unfortunately, the earth does shake so, if Allah did create mountains to prevent the earth from shaking, he did a horrible job. Mountains themselves shake plenty, and when they do, avalanches or falling rick or exploding volcanoes can result.

Needless to say, this verse in the Quran is false, and stupid, even by the standards of ignorant desert people back in Muhammad's time.

"and produce on the earth every kind of noble creature, in pairs". Sorry, thats false as well because there are 'some kinds' of creatures that are 'produced' asexually. Some lizard species. Some bee species. No pairs.
