You have to look at the big picture God was Jesus son in the flesh yes. We are his spirit children. So if there was no other way to save the others children yes.
Jesus chose to come down to earth way before he was born physically and give the glory to God his father.

Now I have a question for you does a good father love one child more than another, No he loves them all the same .or at least tries too.

Death at times is meant to occur...sad as it is. Think of this...if there are a group of balls on a pool table, the que stick strikes the cue ball, some balls stay on the table, some go off in the pocket (death). Those balls that were taken out of play and were shot into the pockets . . . if those balls remained on the table it would mess up the play of the game. Some people are meant to be on this planet 3 minutes, 24 years, 88 years etc., their being here touches the life's of others. If they remained on the planet (in play) longer than they were meant to be, then the others people whose lives they touched (balls remaining on the pool table) would not be able to continue on with their own journey (balls still in play) in the way they were meant to. If the other person (ball) remained in play in the life of others, it would effect the 'game' of life. . . learning, growth, knowledge, strength. More to share, but that's enough for here. We can honor and treasure what time any certain person played by touching our life...Jesus Christ or otherwise.

I understand the feeling. However, in Christianity, Jesus went willingly to the cross to redeem mankind. It was through man that we fell into sin and it was through man that we were raised back up to have fellowship with God. Nothing happened to Jesus that He did not want to happen. He died for you. If you believe in Him then you have a way to the Father. Its a love story. God's love for man, God's love for Christ, Christ's love for His Father and you and hopefully your love back to Him. Christ was perfect and only perfection can be allowed to stand before God the Father. That is why we have a High Priest in Jesus, He is always interceding to the Father on Your behalf.

You are not God and therefore do not have the type and intensity of love that only God can have. Most people who do not trust(have faith in) God do not understand this kind of love.....FOR THEM.

It was for the sake of wrongdoers that Jesus voluntarily came to earth that you could have eternal life with God.

If you did have this kind of love, you would not need a savior.

Yea what about Abraham ready to cut his sons throat just to please God's wishes. All Christians are sick deranged people. People who will sacrifice their Children for even a real God much less a fantasy God are depraved people. Where did I leave of on my monkey bones now? Lets see was that ten thousand and six or ten thousand and seven. Ah now look what you made me do. I have to start all over. I'll never find that missing link. xx

Jesus IS God. In a way, God DID sacrifice Himself to save us. Remember the Trinity? Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, they are all God.

One flaw in your question. Jesus Christ died for our sins and had to conquer death so he arose on the third day. He could have called angels to save him but Jesus chose to give his life for us.

True, in a sense, but it would be much simpler if God had just let go of the grudge he's held against humanity since the original sin.
