Isn't it a pretty cruel joke to create human life and not let them know why they were created in the first place, other than to satifisfy this supreme being's huge ego?

It feels like it sometimes doesn't it. I've been diagnosed with bipolar schizo-affetive disorder and I used to wonder why God put me on earth if he gave me such scary mental disability. I had a horrible time functionting when I was in my 20's and teens. Yet, presently I am a 37 year old professional who has contributed in other people's lives in a positive way -- which has helped me to understand my "meaning" in this world. I feel joy in helping other people and these other people have helped me grow as a person.

Have you ever asked yourself any of these questions:
What is the purpose of my life?
Where did I come from?
Why am I here?
Where am I going?
If so, you’re not alone. Most people have asked these questions. We want to understand the larger purpose and meaning of our lives. Without purpose, living day to day can become tedious and empty.
Fortunately, there are answers to these questions—answers that can give you a sense of purpose and help you find lasting happiness. Answers such as:

You are a child of God.
Before you were born, you lived as a spirit with God, your Heavenly Father.
You came to Earth to learn to be more like God.
When your life on Earth is over, you can return to live with your Heavenly Father.
